Great day. Just my husband, myself, our lady guide and driver, so a private tour for small group price. The ruins are amazing. You need a good guide to give you the history behind these amazing structures. Our lovely young lady guide was extremely knowledgeable, and answered many questions relating to the building of, and the religion behind them. We enjoyed the dancers, and it gave a welcome sit down and rest from the hot sun. Make sure you wear a hat, plenty of sun screen, good walking shoes and insect repellant a good idea. During the journey back to our hotel, we chatted about the Vietnamese way of life, education, politics, and industry. It was very enjoyable half day tour, and highly recommended.
We had a great visit to this very beautiful site. Our guide was very knowledgeable and considerate about finding shady places as it was very hot. It is a fascinating place.
Fantastic day. Small group, great guide with huge knowledge, kept away from the crowds.Well worth the visit. Highly recommend.
The tourguide was absolutely fantastic! It was the perfect mix of information and aimless wandering.
What a great tour, a brilliant outlook and with the high quality of tour guide you learn a massive amount of the history. It is only a short trip from Hoi An but do it well worth it. Our tour guide was exceptional
This was a very interesting tour with a well-informed and friendly guide. There were only two of us on the trip but they still went ahead with it for the same price and they picked us up from our hotel, despite being north of Hoi An. We went in the afternoon and it was extremely hot. The guide told us that it is much cooler in the mornings but there are masses of people who go at that time. So, if you don't mind the heat, the afternoon is a much quieter time to go.
This tour was great! It was just my sister and I, so it was nice to be on a small tour. Our guide was really passionate and knowledgable about religion and the ruins, and that made it special. We went in the morning, and by the time we left, it was sweltering, so that was nice as well.
This is a great tour outside the city of Hoi An. This should be done in the morning as it gets quite hot later in the day. We were picked up on time at our hotel and returned by the stated time. You have to walk a little to get to the place where you see a Vietnamese dance show. The dancers and the dance was fascinating. Afterwards you are given time to visit the sites. Some are fully reconstructed and others are under reconstruction. Did not realize how old this particular site is. The guide was good and his English was excellent. Well worth the time and money for the tour. I recommend it!
Our tour guide was great and driver looked after us with water. The guide was flexible, friendly and informative. Despite walking in the heat everything was great. They arrived on time and allowed us to change our drop off points
Private transfer, excellent guide very knowledgeable. Good value for money
Absolutely delightful! The guide was so knowledgeable and gave information on the drive to Hoi An and an a wealth of information once there. We missed the beginning of the dance program due to technical difficulties at the site. Getting there early and avoiding human pollution provided opportunity to get incredible photos. Highly recommend/
Nice half day tour in minivan with local guide and convenient pick up from hotel. We did the morning tour, the My Son sanctuary site was not too crowded. Beautiful place to visit close to nature, approximately one hours drive from Hoi An.
Very interesting place to visit. We had a great guide, Fam, who was informative and helpful. We were the last couple to get picked up and we sat at the very back of the van. This was not the most comfortable position as the roads were very bumpy, but this is to be expected in regional Vietnam. Overall, a very good experience.
A most interesting tour with the guide providing an excellent briefing of the history of the area. A great experience !
Great tour, Key who was put tour guide was very informative , made the trip much more enjoyable . Glad we chose the early morning tour as it was very hot that day. good work key.
Very nice guide, the ruins were impressive, we got a fair explanations of things and details along the way, we got to see some more about the vietnamese culture and history, nature is also beautiful.
This is a stunning tour! Be prepared for serious heat and a bit of a walk to top of hill. The sights are well worth it! There is a cultural show before you visit the ruins. This is also quite interesting. this was one of the highlights of my trip to vietnam. Well recommended.
The best thing about this tour small-group tour is that we arrived in My Son Sanctuary earlier than the crowd. The guide is knowledgeable and efficient. The van comfortable.
It was interesting to see the temples and get the history behind them, however the drive was a little long, and the guide was a little hard to understand.

Very interesting tour. It was really hot when we went, so was a bit of a struggle, not much shade.
My Son is defiantly worth a visit and go early as it gets busy and hot.
Unfortunately our tour guide was a little on the quick side so we were rushing to get around and didn't really understand what he was saying to us.
We were the 2nd stop of the morning and were picked up on time, however with each subsequent stop we were delayed further by each group taking 15-30 mins to get into the bus, I dont know if this was an issue with the tour company not communicating the correct pick up time or the customers just not being ready but there really should be some sort of limit to how long they wait for someone. the day was cold and rainy but it was no problem for the tour as long as you dont wear open shoes as its quite muddy.
The tour itself was informative and we learnt quite alot, the guide had good english and was obviously very practiced in his spiel, however the incessant crass jokes and sexual innuendo from 'Mr John' got a bit uncomfortable by the end, particularly as half the group were over 60 and the only 1 politely giggling was a young Danish girl whom didnt seem to understand much.
