Big Bus Hong Kong

This tour is a great way to see Hong Kong. It is a very big place and getting around on the bus was a great way to see everything. The red line was closed due to the protests but we still saw everything we wanted on the blue and green lines. The cable car is a must to do and we also did sky 100 plus the Stanley markets. The bus ran on time and it was not crowded (probably due to the downturn of people visiting Hong Kong). We felt very safe though every where we went. I would highly recommend this tour if you want to see a bit of everything in Hong Kong.

Great service under difficult circumstances

In light of the difficult situation in Hong Kong with sudden street closures and cancellations of planned tours the Big Bus team was extremely helpful and creative to show me the attractions I was interested in seeing. Their service and attention to detail was exemplary.

Decent Value for the money

The Big Bus is a decent way to orientate yourself to Hong Kong. It offers 3 routes (Kowloon and 2 on Hong Kong Island) allowing you access to almost every area of interest. They come around every 30-45 minutes and we only experienced one delay on our recent 2-day ticket. The deluxe 2-day ticket gives you 2 round trips on the Star Ferry (getting you across Victoria Harbour and back twice) - this would cost ~$12 if purchased separately. It also includes a ticket to the top of the Peak Tram (OR "Sky 100" rooftop viewpoint) and rooftop access - which would cost ~$15 if purchased separately. There were a couple other perks included. We had great weather and small crowds so it worked out well. Overall recommend.

The first of two scheduled days was great. Bus got to all major attractions. Bus was clean and audio accurately addressed what we were seeing. Variety of scheduled activities was excellent. Due to heightened demonstrations, the second day of our activities was cancelled. We received a complete refund.

Great way to see any city

The Big Bus was the perfect way to familiarize ourselves with the city. It picked us up about 2-3 blocks from our hotel and, if you took all 3 tours, you would have a great overview of Hong Kong. The Bus stops at plenty of tourist attractions and even with all the traffic, seemed to be mostly running on schedule,

NOT RECOMMENDED

Waited 1hr for bus. Driver said bus was full, wouldn’t allow anyone on & said next bus in another hr. We asked if they couldn’t send another one sooner. Driver was very hostile and rude to all. We left by taxi. Picked up later at a different stop later in day. Same bus driver. Very nasty to several passengers. We complained to her bosses. Nothing done, no apologies, no refunds. Would not recommend this HOP ON/OFF to anyone. I was with a group of 8 and there were several other people also denied.
