Meet your group and guide at the Yau Ma Tei MTR Station a little before 7:30pm, which is the time your tour will depart at.
Follow your guide through the urban streets of Kowloon as you pass by key sights, such as the heritage red-brick building on Shanghai Street and the classic Yau Ma TeiTheatre. See the 100-year-old Yau Ma Tei Fruit Wholesale Market, which still is going strong today. Your guide keeps things interesting by telling tales of history and folklore as you go.
Next up is dinner. Enjoy a delicious meal of local-favorite foods at Mido Café or possibly at another side-street restaurant in the area before you head off to visit a traditional karaoke spot.
Make your way down Temple Street for an authentic experience at a local singing parlor. Under flashing colored lights, listen to a few singers belt out their most-loved tunes. Afterward, continue down Temple Street as you pass the Tin Hau Temple Complex. Have the chance to get your fortune told to you here under a banyan tree.
Your tour ends at Wo Kee, a local desert shop on the street where you can sample some dessert or purchase one (own expense). Either way, you can decide to explore the area on your own or head back to where you’re staying for the night.
