Well worth the money. You are able to cover so many sights and it makes for a great way of getting around. The only negative is the pick up place at the Sky Tower. As we did not get dropped there, but met up with the Hop on Hop off bus at the stop, we had a lot of difficulties finding where to actually meet the bus. There needs to be someone there to direct people or better signage.
This was a very long day but an excellent tour we had a great guide in Macau - Cisco - had a great day
Excellent value ticket - great way to see both Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. Highly recommend this activity.

This was probably the best way to see Hong Kong. It took you around the whole island. I got to see parts I hadn't before, like Stanley and Causeway Bay. I would def do this again!

always love the hop on hop off tour...whereever in the world
The big bus was a great way to see Hong Kong if only there for a short visit. We were able to see all the sightseeing spots we wanted to cover. A great service!!
Great way to see the sights and learn your way around this amazing city!
Worth every penny! Along with passes for three different routes, you also get free passes for the ferry, tram to view the entire city and another tour boat ride. I recommend the two day pass to do everything.
Mum and I did the tour Big Bus over 2 days 1st day we did RED LINE and 2nd day we did GREEN LINE. Please note this is a Big Red bus for both scenic routes just different lines. Mum and I loved the Green line most, you travel out of the city to a place called Stanley Bay, and this cool little pub thats been there for 30 years to the left of the Guiness BAR, you have to see. Full of dollar bills with tourists comments on it, good beers and good food. Markets were great , mum and i got copy prada bags : I recommend the Big Bus Tour and don't forget to get off at the Peak on RED LINE
Bus were clean, easy to navigate and it provided us with and easy way to see a good amount of HK in an expedient time.
did the hop-on hop-off before a 10 day cruise. Had 2 days in hong kong and spent in on the hop-on as there are three different routes to use. All three are different and takes you to new places. Included in the trip was the peak, entry before the public and the star line to kaloon. Saved a lot of walking on us.
Totally worth it for the ride or if you want to hop on/hop off at various places to check out the individual sights. The tour is even more worth it if you're able to use all the free and discounted vouchers on boat rides and admission fees to various places. Most people don't utilize all the tickets and it would probably take a very organized day or two to fully get the most out of this experience.
We crammed a lot into our two days, should have booked 3 days.
It was a really great trip around the island with good commentary about each major location and sights. A very helpful orientation to the island.

Great way to see the city in a short time-frame. Good value for money.
There were 3 Hop on Hop off tours and our tickets got us on all 3 as well as a free ferry ride to and fro Kowloon.
The commentary was great.
Great tour. We did 48hr with Kowloon night tour well worth it plus the extras. Very organised had a great time. Worth doing
I find that Hop-On and Hop-Off tours are an excellent way to get around a city in 1 or 2 days with limited time. This tour in Hong Kong met the need. The headset and recording system provided interesting information along the way and the routes stopped at all the stops I wanted to see plus several others. Hong Kong tends to be a bit hilly so taking a bus ride reduced the hiking that would have been necessary to get to some locations.
I loved this! My last visit to Hong Kong was prior to it being handed back to China so this hop-on hop-off tour was absolutely perfect to get our bearings and helped us see so much in just a couple of days. The 48 hour tour also comes with Star Ferry tickets, an evening night tour ticket plus a return ticket for the Peak Tram and we used all of them!!! We found it so useful to be able to just jump off one bus, do some exploring and then jump on another to continue the tour. I'd recommend using the Metro in real rush hour late afternoon/early evening as the bus just gets snagged up in traffic but other than that it's worth every penny.
Takes you to all the major sites and then some! Sitting on the top deck was quite hot in July, but the photos taken made it worth it! I try to use the Big Bus tours in every city I visit and this was not disappointing!
Only being in Hong Kong for 1day this tour would be the most effective way to see everything on offer. We found the Big Bus ground staff in the newly built cruise ship terminal, they swapped our voucher for tickets and were ushered onto a coach ready to take us to the Star Ferry terminal to start the tour. We did both lines on Hong Kong Island only getting off at Peak Tram, sadly it was too foggy to see anything! Major traffic jams during the tour of Chinatown resulted in our not being able to take the Blue Line. We crossed the harbour on the Star Ferry then promptly returned in time to catch our connecting bus back to our cruise ship.
Well worth a full day of touring, the other side of the island was an eye opener, loads of construction happening, huge houses and hotels built into the cliff faces. Sampam ride was a nice side break. If we had more time a stop off at Ocean Park would be great for kids. Great value for money and best way of seeing Hong Kong. Only downsides, fog at Peak Tram and the major traffic jams.
