I really enjoyed this tour. Walking pace was good. The tour guide we had needs lessons on using a camera. When tourist want a photo, to remember the trip, the guide can make the difference of a great photo of a bad one, which makes for a bad memory..but I would take this tour again
This is definitely worth a visit. So pleaseed we went on a guided tour and enjoyed our guide, Mario, a Portuguese local to Macau for about 33years. If you follow Mario and start with visiting the Venetian, a quick visit to the place, he is able to show you more of the other areas of Macau. We also went up to the Macau Tower, you can choose to stay at the bottom and wait 40 mins or go up with him and pay the fee to go up there where you can see people doing bunny jump with AJHackett, the biggest bungy jump in the world at the moment...he will show you where Macau ends and where mainland China starts, the huge bridges and buildings being built. Amazing view of Macau. We also went to the old city, where only the remains of St Paul Cathedral facade. Also saw the original landing of the Portuguese at the Chinese temple, had the famous Portuguese tarts. Quite a big day, ferry across and back to Macau took an hour each way.
Cisco our guide was wonderful and very knowledgeble. This was a good tour is you don't mind crowds, both in the streets and on the bus, 39 people. It is not a shopping or gambling tour.
Weather was miserable, but still highly enjoyed our time in Macau. Our guide. Mario was incredible. Very knowledgeable and incredibly funny. Lunch was fantastic.
We were picked up from hotel on time. We were dropped off to take a scenic cruise to Macau. We were received in Macau by our guide. The whole tour gave us a glimpse of Macau. I guess only issue is if you want to,spend more time in casino or St Johns Cathedral or any other places you might want to travel on your own. Also the tour is pretty long and a bit exhausting. This tour served my purpose perfectly and gave me a good introduction to Macau. I would highly recommend this tour.

Great day, long trip but worth it! Boat was fast and got to see all th major attractions in a relaxed and fun manner.
well organised and informative. guide had a nice manner with a good sense of humour while being informative.
I highly recommend this tour. There are people to guide you every step of the way, from pickup in Hong Kong to Macau and back to Hong Kong. Mario is an excellent guide. He has lived in Macau for more than 30 years, and really knows the city well. Besides showing the main sights, he also provides great insight into life before and after the handover -- and he knows a great place to get Portuguese egg tarts.
Well worth the . Well organized and orchestrated by our guide, Cisco. Plenty of touristy stuff along with enough history for everyone. This is NOT a shopping trip so don't try to make it one....do that on your own. Excellent introduction to Macau! Bravo, well done!!
Great one day excursion from Hong Kong. Saw a lot in the time available. Our tour guide, Mario, was excellent!
This tour was absolutely wonderful and worth every penny!! Sisco was a very good and informative tour guide. Hes very funny too :). They make sure from minute u get picked up till the moment your going home that you are safe and well!
Cisco did an AMAZING job of leading our group! He had a wonderful sense of humor and energy that kept us going all day.
I also appreciated how Cisco indirectly showed us the ways Macau has changed over the years -- FROM an historic spiritual perspective with only the facade of a cathedral remaining TO our current self-indulgent environment with evidence of the opulent casinos built in place of the cathedral. Interesting and sad at the same time.
Excellent trip. Our guide Elisa was especially good, very enthusiastic and knowledgeable so special thanks to her for making it an enjoyable trip.
Mario was our tour guide. Had an excellent time learning about Macau on this trip. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to spend a day in Macau
As you may have seen many reviews about this tour, Mario is the guide to have. He was superb - entertaining, knowledgable, funny and knew all the vantage points for photos, purchases and generally how to get the best out of the very full day. It is non stop with little time to dawdle but that was great for me with limited to time to see as much as possible. If you are in HK a must, but a day was enough for me as gambling and casinos aren't high on my agenda.

AMAZING! Mario was incredible. Would not have missed this for anything!!!
This was an excellent day with Cisco
We would recommend it to anyone along with the Portuguese tarts
We loved our tour guide! Although this was a big-group tour, our guide made sure that there was something for everyone. We were able to see so much of Macau in such a short time, which we definitely would not have been able to do ourselves. One thing to note was that time is spent going up to the top of the Macau Tower, so if you don't like heights, about 30 minutes is spent waiting at the bottom part of the tower if you decide not to go up. However, if you want a great view, the tower is a fun, unique experience. My partner stayed at the bottom of the tower, but I went up and saw some great views along with getting to stand right on the other side of the window where bungee jumpers jump off the tower. It was so cool to see them jump so close! The Tower, combined with the UNESCO sites and temple made the tour worth it. The tour guide also had the group stop by a great bakery so that we were able to get a taste of local culture.
Our recent trip to Macau was a fun day. We visited a casino early so we could move on. I hoped we wouldn't spend too much time there.
Luckily we got a flash mob of violinists at the casino - they were great. We saw a bungey jump up close. We visited the old part of Macau with the heavy rain cloud as a back drop. Everything went smoothly. Our guide was knowledgeable and funny. Would highly recommend this trip.
Good guide... good ride.. in general all was more than good!!!
We saw alot of things. Guide was very good, spoke good English. Ferries were nice.
Mario is the BEST! There is NO doubt about that! Highly recommended tour for those wanting a day out of Hong Kong and into Macau. You will be 'exhausted' at the end of the day, but that's due to everything that you will do! I'm saying this in a good way. Wear comfortable shoes. Do not recommend for people unable to climb steps.
A great day trip, I was picked up from the Hotel at the beginning and transported to Ferry terminal, where I was given tickets for trip to Macau. At Macau our local guide was there waiting for us, he was great, had a fantastic sense of humour and very informative, he made our day, escorted us back to Ferry Terminal for trip back to Hong Kong where we were met for out trip back to our Hotels. Great day, thoroughly recommend this trip.
