Half the fun of this trip was getting to know more about HK thru Rory and Jessy, the excellent guides who showed me the beautiful non-built side of HK. A portion of the bike route had me working out more than I'm used to, but the sites we saw, and the fun of gliding downhill were all worth it!

Notifications went smoothly and Rory our guide responded well.
Our tour started with cycling and our bikes were sparkling new with a little bling
The ride was great with a few hills but worth the effort!!
Then the hiking part took us deep into the park and rainforest where we hiked high farely hard work and popped out to stunning waterfalls and rock pools...fabulous!! We swam in the last waterhole...definitely take ur bathers it's so refreshing.
Where suitable hiking waterproof sandals.
Thanks heaps Rory we had a blast!!

This was a great trip I went with my son whose 13 and he had a great time too the bike ride was a little challenging with the hills but I suggest you go for the longer trip as I thought it was a little short - the hike was great and it was awesome going to the waterfalls, make sure you explore all around loads to see and do, take a dip in the pools : . Our Guide was really good he had a great knowledge of the area and very friendly looked after us really well. Its a great fun day that gets you out of H.K. into the fresh air out I highly recommend it.

This is a great day out of the city to see another side to Hong Kong. It is really easy to get out to on the MTR and Rory was waiting for me at the station eager and ready to set off. It was not an arduous bike or hike but I could imagine in summer you would want to take it slow and drink lots of water.
Rory was awesome there was nothing he would not do to make your day enjoyable. His knowledge of the local flora and fauna was impressive and could identify what animal had gone past recently by the droppings it had left.. The scenery was beautiful, lots of waterfalls and views across the mountains. Highly recommended and I could imagine his other offerings around Hong Kong on wildhongkong would be just as good.

In general a nice day out - especially on a Sunday when you can leave the city and the masses of people. You see some nature as well how people in Hong Kong spent their week-ends. The downside of this tour was for the price we paid as well the description 5 hours we did not really got to much. Instead of 5 hours it took us 2 hours including a bus ride of 20 minutes! We were only two people so quiet a small group but still we are not super athletes so our pace on the bicycle as well on the hike was not super fast. When we asked why this was so short we heard, that this is the tour Rory the organizer has asked our guide Jessy to take us. In addition our guide did not provide to much information. After he left we were able to keep our bicycles so we were able to stay in the area and explore it by ourselves.
