Our driver/guide was Stu. He was very good and knowledgeable for both the animals in the area as well as the history he's a tribal elder. He delivered. We saw bears feeding on salmon, eagle chicks and some of the Tlingit history and practices. Very good and I would do it again as well as recommend it.

Mike was a great guide and we learnt a lot from his personal stories of the Tlingit culture. We were only 4 on the tour and were able to ask questions and make photo stops. Didn't see any bears but plenty of beautiful scenery away from any buses and crowds.

Sadly we missed the bears but learned so much about the local culture. Basically we had a private tour and our guide was a local who knew it all. The views were amazing. Would do this trip again
Well worth it and less expensive than the cruise ships. Definitely a must

We saw no bears on a 3 hour bus ride. Rip off when no salmon are running. They should not offer the tour when the Bears are not out looking for food.

This trip was a waste of time. It was a small van with only 8 passengers. The people in the back of van did not hear any of the information the guide provided. When asked time and time again to speak up or use a microphone nothing happened. He said the microphone did not work. To make it even worse, to no fault of his, we did not even see a bear. He did have some good information to share but half of the van did not hear it.
