This day trip was perfect for my short trip and wanting to get a taste of Houston Galveston. The tour buses were clean and comfortable. They were to accommodate and assist with someone who is handicapped. On the day of the trip, Antonio, the owner and tour guide was challenged by a downtown parade in Houston and the beginning of a parade in Galveston. He handled it well and gave us the best tour he could under the circumstances. When we arrived at Galveston, we took the dolphin watching boat ride which was a lot of fun, seeing quite a few pods of dolphins, swimming right up to the boat for great photos opps. Overall, it was an enjoyable day, great tour and kudos to Antonio and his wife putting their all into their business. They were very sociable and accommodating.

Had a good day. The guide was great drove us around and gave us a good tour showing the older parts of galveston, the sea wall etc a d giving us the history of various areas.. I did think we would have had more time to walk around and explore so was a little disappointed by that.

2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better August 2016

It wasn't long enough to stay in Galveston once you drop off other passengers to the space centre. 1 1/2 in Galveston when you want to look around the shops, walk around the beach front. Some big cruise liners were in and it would have been nice to walk along and see those. Didn't have time to have any lunch before the driver came to pick us up.

2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better July 2016

We enjoyed the city tour, the bus that was supposed to be air conditioned that headed to Galveston and the Space area was NOT IT WAS HOT AND MISERABLE, the Galveston trip was not impressive, I was under the impression we would have 3 hours on our own, we drove around looking at houses, and had an hour to eat and then went on the dolphin watch, if you like looking at houses in Galveston then this tour might be for you. So, I guess I was less than impressed with the 200 we spent on the tour.

2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better May 2015

Houston part of the tour would be OK if our double-decker bus was not so dirty. The woman guide was thorough and interesting. After that, just the two of us were taken to Galveston and on the way there one guy was dropped off at the Space Center. Few problems:16-passenger bus was very old and uncomfortable, its windows rattled loudly. Our driver did not tell us anything about Galveston, we made 2 stops: at the Seawall and on the Strand. By pure luck, we ourselves found a very good restaurant - Fisherman's Wharf, where we had lunch. The dolphin watching tour was a highlight of our trip, but we did not have to come all the way to Galveston to watch dolphins. After the boat tour I asked our driver if we're going to see the Bishop's Palace and tree sculptures, and she said that because we have to pick the guy from the Space Center and the traffic is bad, we did not have time for this. And the worst part of this tour was that our driver was driving like a maniac, very carelessly, was weaving from one lane to another, making other drivers honk at her. Sometimes It looked like she was falling asleep at the wheel.
We used Viator tours last year in Spain and Prague and had no problems there.
We think that Viator had not properly check the Houston travel agency it uses for this tour.

Quite disorganised- the double decker bus that took us on a tour of Houston broke down and the drive to Galveston and back was a nightmare- weaving in and out of the traffic - if you suffer from motion sickness - take something before you get on the mini bus. Galveston was quite nice to see.
