Overall a great experience and exactly as advertised. Tour company left message with hotel regarding my pick up time. Guide was on time, friendly and entertaining to keep my elderly father motivated while walking through all the sights. Expect a bit of walking. The vegetarian lunch at a monastery not open to public was quite special at the quiet and serene setting.

If you want to learn Vietnams history - do this tour. We were staying at the La Residence, OMG best hotel eva. This tour is a long and hot one, so take water. I personally loved this tour as it explained everything that I had done in high school about this gorgeous country. Did you know Asian Elephants are smaller then African's? Their royal family and culture, between Chinese and them. Hope you have a great tour guide like we did. Sorry can't remember her name, but extremely knowledgable.

Hue is a haunted city with a dark and tragic past. Our guide, Von Ho, tempered this awareness with terrific wit and a wry charm. It was an absolute pleasure sharing in her pride of Hue and its people while touring the sites she shared. Highly recommended.

Van Ho is an amazing guide. She explained both the past and present political and social views of the local community. Each stop was explained before we arrived and it's historical significance. We looked at each site and could fully grasp what we were looking at and why. Lunch was amazing. Each dish was explained to us, how it was made and how to eat it. We ended the day feeling we had spent the day with a friend and had an understanding of the history and culture of Hue. Van allowed us to explore each site with her at our own pace. There was no rush. An excellent guide makes for an excellent tour.

Awesome tour and guide!
Although this was to be a small group tour, we had it only for my and my partner. A private tour in the end.

Our guide VAN HO was very knowledgeable and kind. In the day of the tour, I was feeling miserable with a big flue. Van Ho took the time, slower down the pace and delivered a fantastic journey in Hue. We got everything that was promised and even a strategic stop and a pharmacy! LOL

She was worried and caring about us all the times, plus kept pushing me to find the strength to visit all venues and kept me interested in everything.

So, tour was superb and my special thanks to our driver and mainly to VAN HO who was a fantastic company and guide - and photographer as well. -

Boat accommodation, meal, and crew was superb! So I do recommend this tour and would love to go back for a longer stay a 2-night cruise maybe.
Kindly yours,
Gustavo Mauro.

This tour was a great experience. The tourguide Thanh made for an enjoyable and productive use of the day. Many sights were visited and the personal knowledge of Hue by Thanh added a lot to the experience. The pickup at the hotel was on time and the pace of the day was good. The tour included the transportation, admissions to the sights, the boat ride, and lunch. With the limited time I had in Hue, it was the way to see and learn about the area.
