What To Expect
Meet your guide at your Hurghada hotel for the trip to quad bike base camp, where you’ll learn to drive a fun, easy-to-manage Honda quad bike. Suit up with safety equipment, then practice maneuvering the 4-wheeler, which you’ll drive all the way to a Bedouin village—don’t miss the real-life desert mirage along the way!
When you arrive at the village you’ll have time to meet local people, take photos and learn about daily life in the Sahara. Trade your quad bike for a camel ride, then watch the sunset from a mountain with stunning views of the countryside. Relax over a buffet dinner of middle eastern food and soft drinks, and enjoy an evening show of belly dancing, Tanoura performers, folkloric singers and snake handlers.
Finish the night beneath the stars, spotting constellations through your telescope and watching for shooting stars in the Milky Way. This tour includes return transfer to your hotel.

Our guide was an amazing...

Our guide was an amazing man. I was feeling unwell and he looked after us very well. He was helpful, informative and very kind.
Our trip back to the hotel with someone else was not as nice. I'm not sure what route he was taking but we went past Hurghada Police Station twice, he didn't even look at us when he let us out of the truck, disappointing end to a most fabulous day. Again, our guide was amazing, see picture 🙂
Not as advertised

The quad ride was fun, we all enjoyed it and the guide was great. Going to the village was as expected, focused on tourists with lots of tips expected, which is fine and as mentioned having traveled all over the world this was as expected. The food was average and the entertainment was nice
However the tour was not as advertised. All in all we were there for less than 5 hours, including needing to wait for our ride back to the hotel for 20 minutes (at an added cost of 25 Euros). The expectation was to ride out into the desert, dinner/entertainment in the desert and stargazing - which was the key driver for us to pick this tour. Then drive back at night. Instead it was a back and forth during the day and dinner/entertainment where we started. No stargazing - the whole thing was over at 6PM. We were told the police/security does no longer allow it since 2 months. So save some money and do not pick a tour that advertises night safari and stargazing as that will not happen.

Beautiful scenery and great fun on quad bikes

The trip on quad bike to the Bedouin village was 25 km each direction and was complete with stunning views and relatively flat terrain. The experience with the Bedouin people and camels was eye-opening and included a swarm of friendly goats. Our guide was eager to answer questions and took wonderful photos of the family and the scenery as well as a video of us on the bikes. All together the experience was worth every penny and we highly recommend it!

We had a great time. Our tour pick was listed wrongly at 1:00 pm. When I called the local tour operator it was actually 2:30 pm pick up at our hotel with a 7:30 drop off. That made it a 5 hr. tour instead of 6hrs !
We purchased scarfs about 3.00 US and they wrapped them on our heads and faces. They supplied googles and helmets and after a short test ride the four of us were off on a 25km trek to the village. Lots of washboard sand from well used trails on the desert but it was good fun.We are aged 65 and had no problem at all. The village was interesting but now you are in a group for the activities. The camel ride is 5 mins with a photo taken by the local child camel handler. That is long enough on the saddle trust me . The dune buggy ride is short and very controlled. great for kids . The show was interesting and the dancer gave her all. We were on stage to participate as were many others. a big dance that was good fun. A buffet meal was supplied and we ate gingerly. your choice
The star gazing is a complete waste of time. One telescope in among the lights with a big line up to look at one star .
After a trip to the washroom were were back on the Quads for a 25km return ride in the dark which was great. We stopped so our guide had to stop and the four of us and guide turned off the machines and enjoyed a break in the dark taking the the quiet and the stars. Sometimes you have to stop and smell the cactus ..ha ha. That is the nice part of going private.
It wasn't perfect but it was a very nice evening that we didn't regret at all !

Everyone was nice and professional...

Everyone was nice and professional from start to finish! Highly recommend: My husband and I had a great time. Just make sure to bring a jacket for the long tour because it gets chilly at night and don't wear anything nice you're on quads so everything will be super dusty from the sand.

Parfait de A à Z, de la prise en charge à l'hôtel jusqu'au spectacle final.
Nous nous sommes bien amusés avec le quad.
Le village bedouin offre un paysage magnifique.
Une petite balade en chameau est prévu sur place.
Nous remercions le guide pour sa gentillesse.

Balade en quad super ! Au top dans le désert ! Passage obligé et vraiment bof au mini village Market du coin. Dîner et spectacle sympa également. Pas d’observation d’étoile.
