Receive in-depth attention from a knowledgeable guide on this private tour
Begin your experience with a pickup from your central Hurghada hotel or central Hurghada. Hop aboard your air-conditioned vehicle with your informed private guide and set off on your 3-hour private tour of the city.
As you travel, listen as your guide talks about Hurghada and how it mushroomed from a small village in the mid-20th century to one of Egypt’s most popular Red Sea resorts.
Soak up the bustle of the old city center, and visit the impressive Abdel Monaem Read Mosque, otherwise known as the Big Mosque. Admire the classical Islamic architecture as you delve into the courtyards and intricately engraved archways, and gaze up at the domes and minarets.
Visit another of Hurghada’s must-sees — the Coptic Church of St Mary — and stretch your legs around the port area to take in the views. Then, drive up to the highest point in town to admire the sweeping panoramas over the resort and sparkling Red Sea.
Savor a tasty lunch and afterward, dive into some of Hurghada’s best souks. Enjoy free time to rove around the stalls that sell everything from clothes to rugs and trinkets, and get tips from your guide as to how to haggle over prices.
After bagging some bargains, return to your vehicle and end your tour with a drop-off at your hotel or the original start point.
Enjoyed every second of it! Our tour guide Mohammad was excellent and knew all the best sights to see. We visited the mosque, boat yard, fishing yard, local market, the perfumery, local shopping gallery and the old hurghada all topped off with a delicious lunch. Highly recommended.
This tour was awesome and our guide very informative and knowledgeable. Seeing the culture and lifestyle between the old and new Hurghada was eye opening and at times sad to see. Our guide Mohammed was super friendly and made the day relaxing, educational and fun, especially as it is Ramadan.
The tour was great. I stayed in the north of Hurghada and didn't have a chance to see everything, so for me it was the perfect way to see all it has to offer as the mosque, the market, the marina. My guide was really nice and also invited me to a drink of sugar cane.
However, if you stay downtown I don't think you need to take the tour as it is in my eyes too pricey for such a short amount of time. If you don't have a ride and stay far, I would recommend it.
We were met by our guide at the hotel and given a guided tour around old Hurghada seeing the Mosque, Coptic church, boatyards, fish market and the suche. The guide was a local and knew a great deal about the area. We were taken to a perfume house and given a talk on the different essences they had and what they could be used for. Finally we were taken to an Egyptian restaurant for an Egyptian meal which was excellent. All in all a great way to spend 4 hrs I highly recommend this trip
This tour was more interesting than we had expected. This was the first time on our trip that we found ourselves out of the tourist element. Our tour guide was very flexible with the itinerary and enabled us to see areas of Hurghada that we wouldn't have known about. He was very desirous of our having the type of experience that we were looking for, and he was able to answer our many questions. The restaurant meal was very relaxing and the food was the best meal we had during our entire vacation. It was a very good experience, and we would recommend it to anyone.
