Highlights

  • 6-hour desert adventure tour from Hurghada
  • Get off the beaten track in a 4x4
  • Drive a beach buggy
  • Visit a bedouin village for tea, hookah, and dinner
  • Hotel pickup and drop-off included

What You Can Expect

Begin with pickup at your Hurghada hotel, then travel into the desert zone to see rock formations and rugged scenery, with the option to hike Ralm or Balcony Mountain. Continue by 4WD to a beach buggy station, with 45 minutes to speed across the sand at the wheel of your own beach buggy.

Travel to a Bedouin home to meet local families in a traditional tent, where you can join them for a glass of Bedouin tea and a hookah pipe. This is the perfect time to learn about life in the desert, and how the Bedouin people survive and thrive in a harsh environment. Find out how Bedouin people make medicines from herbs and desert plants, see local women cooking their traditional bread, then help draw water from a deep well.

Next you’ll explore the village Bedouin-style—on the back of a camel—and sit down with your hosts for a big desert BBQ dinner. Head back towards Hurghada after dinner, with a stop at the reptile house to see the snakes, lizards, and chameleons that live in the area. This tour concludes with drop-off at your Hurghdada hotel at 7pm.

Lots of fun! Highly recommend

3 star rating: Worth doing October 2017

Enjoyable. However you don't get long enough on the quads and beach buggies before a really bumpy and uncomfortable ride through the desert in a 4 x 4. Visited a Bedouin village where you can ride camels. In our opinion the 5 hour safari is much more worth your money and way more comfortable.

2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better November 2017

Not quite as how I expected. There was no sand dunes in the desert so there wasn't any exciting up and downs in a 4WD as I expected...
Camel riding session was only 2 minutes and dinner wasn't good. Although it's a buffet, but there was very few food.
And bedouin village was only a tourist point, it's not a real village, only few Bedouin people there selling souvenirs.
The only fun part was riding quad bike, so I think it's better to choose a shorter tour with only quad bike riding. 45 minutes quad biking riding is enough.
