What You Can Expect

Loch Ness Sightseeing Cruise

Soak up the idyllic views on a Loch Ness sightseeing cruise

After making your own way to Clansman Harbour — located nine miles from Inverness city center — you’ll to be impressed by the undulating hills and rambling greenery that surrounds Loch Ness.

Climb aboard your boat and take a seat inside or on the open-air deck. As your boat begins to cruise away from the harbour, you’ll admire stunning views of Loch Ness, a lake considered one of Britain’s most mysterious.

Capture photograph of the loch, Britain’s largest body of fresh water, and scour the surface for sightings of the mythical Loch Ness Monster. During your cruise, opt to revitalize with a drink or snack from the on-board bar at your own expense.

On the way back to Clansman Harbour, gaze at the 500-year-old ruins of Urquhart Castle, famed for its invasion by Edwards I. After your 1-hour sailing trip, disembark at your original departure point.

I really enjoyed this cruise, although it was a windy day the boat ride was super smooth. The commentary on board was great, just enough information and did not bombard you with boring stuff. I enjoyed just doing the cruise itself and looking at the nearby castle and visitor center at my own pace before the cruise. It was a great opportunity to get a photo of the castle from the water. Unfortunately I did not spot 'Nessie', maybe next time

We had a amazing time sailing down the Loch Ness looking for Nessie. Would recommend this for anybody who wants to see the views of Loch Ness on the water. Was also able to see Urghart Castle too.

The trip on Loch Ness was interesting. However, the sound left a bit to be desired and the seating was not ideal. The temperature was chilly. There is some history provided and there are things to read on the tables. While it was not the best presentation, the price is right
