The trip was awesome. Remember to bring a rain coat as the weather turns very fast. And a handy torch lights as it gets a little dark on the way between huts. All great to be back to nature. Expect a fantastic, relaxed, chilled trip.

This was a wonderful trip! It was very organized, and our guide Richard was clearly passionate about the rainforest. The lodge was great, and my single room even had its own porch. Not having electricity for three days was ver refreshing, and you don't even notice because they have each day planned. Wonderful meals. Friendly staff. I would go back to the lodge again just to relax.

We loved this trip despite nothing ever drying in the Amazon and being bitten alive! Note that this is not a luxury hotel in anyway, there is no WiFi and only cold water. However the food is good and the staff very friendly. Our guides English was excellent. If you want a totally different experience away from the busyness of day to day life, this is for you. We swam in the Amazon and saw a sloth, anaconda, macaw and fished for Piranha!

Worth every dime! The best food I've had in Peru Teddy, the chef is really nice as well. The people were welcoming and informative at the lodge and in the surrounding villages. My guide was supposed to be in English but he was still learning some words so we went back and forth from Spanish to English. The Lodge was spacious and safe however, there is no hot water for showering which I didn't mind. If you want to go by yourself..do it! I went to the lodge alone and I am a Black female but there was a Caucasian female there as well as families, and couples.

Amazing experience with our 2 children ages 7 and 8. We had a wonderful guide, loved all the scheduled daily activities, and enjoyed the food. This place is remote and rustic. You will only have about 3 hours of electricity a day, no hot running water sometimes no running water at all!, no cold refrigerator full of drinks, no cell service, and no walls or ceiling - just mosquito netting and a thatched roof. But all of these cons are part of what makes the experience amazing. You're not at a posh Hawaiian Island resort - you're in the jungle, so just embrace your sweat and deet-covered self and have some fun! Swim with the piranhas. Seriously, do it.

It was great. Amazing experience. And our tour guide Francisco was really good and helpful. If you want jungle adventure in Amazon, this is one you should definitely try. Good lodge and food as well, and everything else was well taken care of. All the other support staff was also very good.

It was an amazing tour. We saw pink and grey dolphins in the Amazon river and different animals at an animal sanctuary and in the wild. We also visited the Yaqui tribe and I had enjoyed it very much. Watching the sunrise over the Amazon river was so beautiful and relaxing. Hiking in the primary jungle was awesome. Going fishing was fun too. Love the visit to the shaman in a village near the lodge.
The food was excellent and delicious. Our tour guide Sandro was very knowledgeable and speaks English really well. Love the fact that they also dropped me off at the airport after the tour ended.
There is not much of a privacy in the lodge though if you have a neighbor under the same roof since two units share one roof. The only complaint I have is the lock to the door at the lodge which is hard to use. Other than that, it was an awesome experience. I highly recommend the tour.

Trip of a lifetime! Martin was the best tour guide and did everything to make sure you had fun! The food was great! Animals were incredible, spider monkeys at the lodge, animal reserve to hold animals including a sloth, and seeing pink dolphins! Very rustic and bring lots of bug spray. Loved it!

This 3-day tour of the Peruvian Amazon was well paced out and fit a lot into a short period of time. Our tour guide was nice, but we had some issues communicating with him as there was a language barrier. The food provided by the lodge was amazing but I would advise packing snacks as there a significant amount of time between meals the lodge does sell some snacks for fairly cheap. Also, the lodge's manager, Franco, makes great drinks at the bar try the Passion Fruit Pisco Sour!

It would have been helpful if Viator provided a packing list as there were a few items our group wished we had packed. For instance, definitely pack bathing suits on the chance that you get the opportunity to swim in the Amazon which I would highly recommend. On a similar note, the lodge provides rubber boots essentially, sturdy rain boots in a decent amount of sizes that you can hike it, especially when its going to be wet. Be sure to pack enough mosquito repellent w/ DEET, a pair of hiking boots, looser fitting pants, a water bottle, a light rain jacket, some sort of anti-itch cream e.g., Benadryl, etc.

Also, know that you will likely be canoeing during rainy season when the water rises and hiking during dry season so be sure to look up the season when you are planning your trip based on your preference. Viator, it would be helpful if this was indicated in the trips description.

In regards to the level of hiking difficulty, it would have been great to know beforehand. Most of the hikes were easy but there was a longer hike 2.5-3 hours on the second day that was definitely a more moderate to difficult hike just because of the length and the heat!.

Overall, great trip! We did most everything indicated in the description and had an immersive 3-day experience in the Amazon.

Our guide, Adriano Alvarado, was fantastic with a deep knowledge of the jungle and the plants/animals within it, strong command of both english and spanish, and a great sense of humor. We were able to see a wide variety of plants and animals via guided walking tours, a fishing outing, and a visit to a wildlife reserve. The lodge itself had a nice common area and tasty food. The rooms are simple but overall fine - that's the only part that could be improved upon to be a bit more clean but since there's no AC I think it's the reality of being in the jungle with almost 100 humidity. Overall an excellent and fun tour for the price.

Very nice Lodge with fantastic meals for lunch and dinner (breakfast was standart but really okay). The tour itself had only one weak point: The visit at the indigo tribe which was very unnutural as you could see that the people there only behaved like this for tourist's entertainment. Also the children there begged for money when I took the hand on my purse. Especially the night tour and the park for animals caught up by customs were really great and make the tour really recommendable. Also the guide was a great person.

Our trip on the Jungle Tour was very very good. The guides were knowledgable, friendly and service oriented. Details were well organized, and accommodations were clean and adequate, and the itinerary was full, but not too rushed or busy. The food was good, and gave us a taste of jungle cuisine. We are certainly glad we went on the trip!

I tried to call many times to let them know that my flight was delayed. Unfortunately every time I called, the local provider only spoke Spanish and would attempt to transfer and then disconnect me. Being that I had limited access to service overseas after about 8 times I gave up. I arrived in Iquitos late due to my airline delay and there was no one waiting for me. I never got to go on the trip and this was not cheap. I came home and tried to call and had the same problem so I had to pay 300 something dollars to never go on this trip. I wouldn't use this local company again. Although Viator usually does a good job.
