We went on Wednesday, July 6th and there were only 4 other people on the tour with us. Our guide, Maria, was very kind and knowledgeable about the fish and plant life that we were witnessing. She had a very fun attitude throughout the entire tour which made our time even more enjoyable. The boat took us to 3 snorkeling locations (about 20 minutes at each) and then a buffet lunch at a beach restaurant on Isla Mujeres. The buffet lunch wasn't anything spectacular but it was decent and all you can eat. The entire trip was right at 3 hours long, which was shorter than expected. They gave us bottled water on the trip and Maria took photos while in the water to share with us. Lifejackets are required to wear for the entire duration while in the boat and in the water. Be careful to reapply sunscreen to your lower back/legs as they are very exposed to the sun while snorkeling. All needed equipment is included. Overall, we enjoyed our time and would take this tour again.

Great snorkeling experience with Maria & Teo ! Maria explained well which fish we were seeing :) the most fun during the trip we had was when we were allowed to briefly take off the lifevests to snorkel down to the sculptures. Would be great if good swimmers would be allowed to do this more often during the trip.

The snorkeling was amazing and our tour guide Maria was super knowledgeable about all the fish and creatures we were seeing. Our captain was Miguel and he was great too, they were even able to find some turtles for us to see! Not only was the snorkeling great, but the food was fantastic! Definitely gonna recommend this to anyone I know going to Cancun.

Our snorkeling tour was so amazing! Captain Miguel, Pablo, and Tio were excellent guides and very entertaining for the entire trip. The guides always made a point to let everyone know when they found a cool fish so no one missed it. When Pablo saw a stingray, he even offered to take my wife's GoPro to film it, as you aren't allowed to dive on the tour.
After swimming, we went to a hotel for the free meal, and it was way better than I expected. The fish was the highlight, and I usually don't like fish much. Our guides even offered extra food to those that wanted it.
After the tour was totally over, we were told that any pictures the guides took would be available for free! This was a big surprise, because you usually have to pay for any extras on tours.
I'd recommend Island Adventures 100% if you want to do a snorkeling trip on Isla Mujeres.
