What To Expect

Choose your tour option on booking. Then, after pickup from your Istanbul hotel, travel to the departure jetty on the Bosphorus Strait where your comfortable boat awaits.

Step aboard and enjoy a welcome drink and live music as you settle on deck or in the cabin. Have your camera ready as your boat sails along the strait, the waterway that divides the city’s European and Asian sides.

Admire the beautiful Sultanahmet skyline, with the floodlit domes of the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia taking center stage. Drink in the twinkling lights of the waterside Ottoman palaces and monuments, and capture the two illuminated Bosphorus bridges on camera.

Then, sit down to a mouth-watering 3-course dinner, with a choice of a fish- or meat-based menu, both beautifully prepared by skilled chefs. 

Depending on the option you’ve selected, enjoy your meal with select sodas and alcoholic drinks, or with an unlimited alcoholic drinks package.

As you relax, enjoy dazzling live entertainment from a variety of folkloric artistes. Enjoy colorful gypsy, belly-dancing, Caucasus and Anatolian dance shows; together with a drum show, henna ceremony and hypnotic whirling dervish performance. After a set from a live DJ, your cruise then ends with a hotel drop-off at about midnight.

Very enjoyable evening. Impressed with the wait staff and how efficient they were in serving everyone dinner in a timely manner and keeping them supplied with drinks. The dancers were great entertainment, along with the views of Istanbul from the Bosphorus. My only complaint would be that the music was too loud at the end, one had to go upstairs (cold) to get away from it.

The ambience was good with food and all the people around. The quality of the food was not great, was pretty average. Service was good. The dance performances were good. The audio guides of different landmarks were not good. The sound got lost within the chatter in the boat. Wish they would have given individual audio guides, so that we could learn more about the different landmarks. Pickup and drop-off were decent, although it did not go all the way to my hotel, ended up walking for a while.

At the start of the night I had no idea what to expect. By the end of the night I was swept away by the magic of the Bosporus cruise! The atmosphere was whimsical and ripe for making memories. The entertainment was top tier. YET, the best part had to be our stunning professional quality photos we got taken! I was stunned at the magic the photographer worked as he captured all our best angles! 10/10 would totally recommend to anyone looking for a night to remember!

All the arrangements from the Viator company and tour manager Giray went very smoothly. We have ordered tour for a family just a day before through internet - everything was organized excellently. Hotel transfer was at time, the show during the boat trip was interesting, and the dinner quite well and really worth the money. Would definitely recommend it!

If you’re going as a couple there isn’t space for privacy as you will be sat right next to other people. The food is mediocre but the entertainment makes up for the night.
Disorganized transfer to and from port

Someone came to pick me up at the hotel and ended up walking to other nearby hotels to pick up other guests. We waited in the rain for quite sometime before the van arrived. Dinner and entertainment was alright. Upon leaving the boat it was a bit disorganized trying to find your van transfer back to the hotel. They need a better system.

On the advert they promise to pick you up from your hotel, it's a lie. After you paid they will tell you they can't come to your location. Even shout on you on the phone. The time on the advert is 8pm to start journey, the Cruise doesn't, move until 9.30pm and it return back at 10.30pm. Only an hour journey. The food was cold and only three pieces of potatoes chips and fish was served. Absolutely reap off of your money. I won't recommend this company. Find another company if you want a Cruise.

Dont purchas on Viator and pay 5 times what would cost you to purchase in Istanbul. They dont also back up what you paid for. I purchased for 3 adults includng alcohol to be told on the boat that itnot inclded. I sent viator a copy of my whatsup conversation with the boat company manager but was told no refund. I could have paid $25 per person with alcohol in istanbul for the same activity

the dinner on the boat met expectations the dances were nice and the atmosphere on the boat was festive and joyful it seems to me that transport logistics could be improved but Istanbul is a congested city

Food was ok. We enjoyed the entertainment. Seeing Istanbul from the bospherous while cruising was beautiful Tables were very close together leaving little room to move and give some privacy between tables. Overall it was a pleasant experient - we enjoyed it.

It was a beautiful night, delightful atmosphere, hosts were very nice and friendly, always polite and happy to help.. Amazing entertainment, food choices could be improved, however, it was generous and delicious.
