There are no admission tickets required for admission into Hagia Sophia. It is completely free for all nationals. There is no big line to skip as well.

Yes, the Hagia Sophia is since 500 years a mosque and mosques are free. But not the tour guide nor the audio guide.

When we purchased the tour we were not told that the Basilica Cistern was closed for repairs. later we were offered to exchange for a visit to the Binbirdirek Cistern. But on the 10th at 12:30 pm we did not find the guide at the meeting place. She was snowing heavily. We finally found the Cistern but we had to pay the entrance ticket again. A disaster. They should return the amount paid for the failed tour.

dear colin, I am very sorry the upper floor was closed for visit. next time you are in istanbul we would like to invite you for a upper visit. how you liked the topkapi palace museum and the cisterne musem? were the audio guides informative? how was the tour with the tour guides? did you enjoy the rooftops and galata walking tours?

Would recommend this . Went during off peak season and there wasn’t a big queue for tickets but still had bought vip entrance to skip the line as we were with a young baby . Good English guide , friendly with good sense of humour . Brief explanation for about 30-40 min and we were given time to look around after that .

Nice, basic intro to Hagia Sophia

My first time to Istanbul I wanted some help and support in going to this huge ancient site. I picked the VIP tickets. They were only a few dollars more than the standard tour. I found the extra information about the building really helpful to know and deepened my experience.

Really informative guided tour as the guide did a very good job of highlighting the history of the grounds and also did a very good job of highlighting different areas for us to go check out on our own after the guided tour.

En primer lugar, se retrasó 1 hora según nos dijo el guía local. Después no nos canjeó el bono por ninguna entrada (aunque era gratis) y se limitó a dejarnos en la cola general de la entrada. No había entrada prioritaria. Ni bufandas, ni mapas, ni guía ni nada. Un auténtico timo ya que no se nos dio nada. Exigimos la devolución del dinero. Muy mal también viator porque no se puede encontrar donde reclamar y exigir reembolsos.

War zeitig da, wäre ohne VORBUCHUNG eher in der Hagia Sophia gewesen. Der Guide, Memeth war gut und bemüht, guter Job.
