Your tour begins with pick-up from your central Izmir hotel or cruise port. Traveling by air-conditioned coach, set out on the around 1-hour drive to Ephesus, and listen as your guide fills you in on the history of the ancient city, which was once the Roman capital of Asia Minor and at its peak between 1 AD and 2 AD. On arrival, follow your guide and small group of no more than 15 people around the UNESCO-listed ruins, pausing to admire archeological wonders such as the Temple Of Hadrian, the magnificent Celsus Library, and the Great Theatre, which seats up to 24,000 people. Learn more about life in ancient Roman times as you peek into the Public Latrines and Roman Baths, stroll around the Agora, and walk down the grand marble-paved Arcadian Way. Continue to the House of the Virgin Mary, perched atop the Bulbul Mountain, where Mary is alleged to have spent the final years of her life. Head inside to see the shrine of the Virgin Mary, and perhaps drink from the spring, said to possess healing qualities. Finally, head to Sirince where you’ll get a glimpse of life in a traditional Turkish village and indulge in a wine tasting of local wines. Be sure to sample the village’s famous pomegranate wine. After a full day uncovering Turkey’s ancient past, return to Izmir, where your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel.

The tour was amazing, be patient, as the drive is roughly 1 hours there and 2 back but the experience is breathtaking and wonderful. The guide was extremely friendly and knew his history far past what I expected. Thank you for a life time of a memory.
This tour was amazing! Was only myself and my husband on the tour so we had our own personal tour and guide. Guide spoke English well and was very professional, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Definitely recommend for anyone.
Superb guide Nizan, despite scorching heat of the sun we enjoyed this tour very much , our guide was so funny , have a good knowledge and good sense of humor. Food was so so but overall it was our best tour in turkey. Sirince village was so beautiful , very good people, Village of Olive oil and Magic colour of changing stone just amazing.I think the rate of local made cotton dress , wine also cheap and reasonable. Wine is very good slightly different from traditional wine , prepared with strawberry, pomegranate, just awesome.
Trips organizing, trip itself and the guide Nizan was Ok. We touched all points of interest and more than that and the guide was very helpful. He knew lot of histories regarding the places and was very pleasant.
Lunch was simple, well prepared and in quiet location.
Overall 5 stars.
