After about four miles (6.4 kilometers), your group takes a break at Blind Canyon to enjoy a riverside dinner cookout before continuing down Snake River.

Awesome! The six person raft allowed for a more intense, fun experience. The dinner was amazing! Our guide was an expert in whitewater. We would highly recommend Mad River.

My 15 year old son and I took this late afternoon trip with Mad River Boat Trips. The Snake River is wide and deep, making the waves large and rolling. The waves are so big that there is a section where a bunch of guys were surfing. Our guide was expert, as were the guides in the other boats. They didn't miss any opportunity to point out the wildlife and sights along the way. It was a LOT of fun. About halfway through, we stopped along the way to eat a delicious grilled meal. I can honestly say that it was the best meal I ate while vacationing in Montana and Wyoming that week. Pork tenderloin, catfish, delicious sides and veggies, and a scrumptious cobbler for dessert. This adventure was well worth the time and money. We did not want it to end!
