This walking tour begins in the Old City. Meet the expert guide who will lead the group on this half-day tour covering 4,000 years of history. Learn how Jerusalem became the spiritual center of the world for Christians, Jews, and Muslims.

Visit the Temple Mount, also known as the Haram, one of the most important religious sites in the Old City of Jerusalem. This is the site of King Solomon’s First Temple.

Visit the golden Dome of the Rock shrine, one of the oldest works of Islamic architecture and Jerusalem’s most recognizable landmark. This is where the Prophet Mohammed ascended to heaven. There’s also the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, which stands on the hill of Calvary, where Jesus was crucified and buried.

Other points of interest on the tour include Al-Aqsa Mosque, one of the holiest sites in Islam; the Western Wall, the holiest of Jewish sites; the Last Supper Room, where Jesus shared the Last Supper with his disciples; the Tomb of King David; and so many more.

After seeing all the sites, return to the city walls, where the tour comes to an end.

We travel frequently and this was the best tour we’ve been on! I can’t say enough about our guide, Phil. He made the story of Jerusalem come alive. He was so passionate and engaging. Do not miss this tour and try to get Phil as your guide. After the tour, we were so much more invested in finding out more about the history of the Abrahamic religions.

Absolutely excellent. Weather wise, it was a horrible day. Freezing and last 2 hours were freezing and rain. But the guide, Avi, was charming, knowledgeable, kind, clear spoken, excellent story teller.... Can't say enough.
