The cave and cave guide were excellent. The displays at the cave building were interesting. The museum seemed aimed at young people but, we did get some information.

I did not expect to enjoy this tour...

I did not expect to enjoy this tour as much as I did - it was a last minute thing to fill in a day. I was incredibly surprised at how good this tour was. It would have been perfect if the guide's English was a little better. I was the only one on the tour and he was not comfortable with his language skills and turned on the radio - on an Afrikaans station! We arrived at the cave and there were several school groups ahead of us, we were advised to go to the Exhibition first. It was a real eye opener, I had no idea how significant this area was for discoveries of early homonids early humans, one dating back 3-4 million years old. I was glad we did the exhibition first as it gave me an understanding of how significant the cave was before going into it and I found that very helpful. The depiction of the different 'ages' on earth was truly incredible - our time on earth is like the blink of an eye! The hands on exhibits were also amazing as was the room that showed the formation of fossils. A worthwhile journey if you have the time.

Nos recogieron con 1 hora de retraso, sin avisar. No hay wifi en el minibus y el guia sólo es el conductor (no explica nada). Nada recomendable.
