We very much enjoyed this combination and the quality of this excursion. The bus to Mendenhall Glacier was comfortable and the driver Fred shared enjoyable narrations and stories. Once at the Glacier, we could stay as long as desired and take one of the regularly scheduled buses back. The trolley tour was very informative and well done. The Tram ride and views from the visitor center at top of Mt. Roberts were great. At the restaurant, it was barely busy we visited in mid-May, our waitress was awesome and the salmon lunch was absolutely perfect. Tip: Order the hot chocolate!

This was a great tour! Caught city tour bus in plaza right off cruise ship, then switch buses and go to glacier. Could spend as much time as we wanted there with return shuttles every 30 minutes. Then ride the cool Mt. Roberts tram and lunch at ?Timberline restaurant. It was the best meal we had off the ship. Salmon was delicious! Tour was worth the money.

It was a rainy, but well worth the trip. Ben the driver was very informative about the history and culture of the Native people there. The glacier was beautiful, the visitor's center was informative and the dinner on Mt.Roberts was great.

Well organized. Wish we had another half hour at the glacier. We did not have time to hike to the waterfall. Mt Roberts was beautiful and the food was delicious at the Timberline. Our ship was leaving at 4:00 so we did not have time for the film and to explore the trails. Lots to do, not enough time. The tour driver was great and informative.

Good tour but it rained whole time so we could not see distant mountains very well because of mist and clouds. I enjoyed the cable car ride and delicious lunch. I lost my camera and after checking with everyone on tour, restaurant/cable car mgr called me today to tell me she had my camera and was mailing it to me tomorrow. Good news. I had some beautiful pictures on it from tour in Skagway the day before.

Good way to see the city. The stop at Nickel Falls was impressive. We hiked down to get close to the falls. Tram ride gave a great view of the city.

This was a great tour. We all enjoyed it immensely. One comment though----When we ate at the restaurant at the top of the mountain, we were asked if we wanted dessert after the meal and it was not mentioned that it was not included in the price. These desserts were 10 dollars each--the price of a meal somewhere else. We each had one even though we all said we were stuffed and the girl let us believe it was part of the deal we paid for. Just a comment for next time. They should tell you this is not included.

Take the tram ride, and be greeted with a delicious seafood lunch. We had the fish and chips, with three different kinds of fish, including fresh salmon, mmm! Even though it rained it was still a good time.

We had a very interesting and varied tour. We were off too a bad start because the meet up person did not have a clue and we missed the first bus. It was not explained to us that we would actually be taking 2 different buses plus the cable car to complete this tour. Our time at Mendenhalll Glacier was too limited as the cable ride because of this. More explanation of the events and better training of the tour organizer. The guides were great and informative and the variety was excellent. Great value for the money.

We didn't have a god weather day, but our guide did her best to help us enjoy the tour. She knows the local area very well.

Tour was fantastic, unfortunately the weather wasn't the best and we didn't get to see any bears but that can't be helped. Great to hear the history of the First Nation from our tour guide and hear him speak the language.
