Great for the family

Had a great time. We had our 1 year old with us and the crew was super accommodating! We got to see a few whales while out there. We did go toward the end of season so we weren’t sure we were going to get to see any but the crew assured us we would. Would recommend for sure!

From the knowledgeable start with Captain Luke and naturalist Bri to the finish with a sighting of a large white tale whale doing a deep dive this was extraordinary lifetime experience! So many whales to see on a wonderful day with an amazing 2 breach sighting too! Beyond our expectations!! It’s a must do!!!

Great views of the glacier from the park. Whale watching was scattered as it is the end of the season but still saw some although fairly far off.

Great Whale Watching & Crew

Very organized tour. Driver provided information and our time at the Glacier was good. The highlight was the smaller boat and crew, Ben, Sarah, and Miranda, who were very knowledgeable and found the Whales. We saw many whales, tails, and a calf breeching! Great memories.

We saw orcas and humpback whales. One came right up to the boat. Ben, Monica and Sara were so knowledgeable and super fun. They knew all the hot spots and taught us how to spit the whales. Would definitely go again.

The best day!!!

The tour operator was Alaska Tales and they were excellent!!! Since the tour goers had gotten to the meeting point early, they took us to the Glacier site and gave us extra time there. We were the very first people there and the beauty and tranquility of being there was magical. Our bus driver, Juan, was a peach and gave us a great tour of Juneau while driving. Once on the boat to see whales, Luke, Sarah and Taz took us right to the spot to see many whales. We saw mamas and their calves, and quite a few others. The weather was also on our side and it was the best day of our vacation.

We saw 16 whales (multiple times) and saw a breech which was AMAZING! The crew, Ben, Bri, and Monica were so great, very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. I took my 80 year-old grandma and she did great getting around on the boat. The crew was very helpful and patient with her. Even down to booking and calling several times with questions, they got back to me quickly and took care of all my questions. Incredible and would do it again in a heartbeat!
