Barbie is an awesome guide! He purposely only takes small groups so we can move at a pace comfortable for everyone. The kayaking itself was not too strenuous (I’m 5 months pregnant and had no difficulty). He is very knowledgeable about the history of the area. Only thing I’d change is my husband and I wish we had brought a snorkeling mask- one of the stops is in a bay where there are sunken ruins and you are allowed to swim :). Also recommend visiting the castle! Well worth the short hike.

This day trip was the highlight of our summer vacation in Turkey. We had absolutely fabulous weather and spent the day kayaking amongst beautiful nature and historical ruins with a friendly, fun, and knowledgeable guide. The delicious lunch that was included exceeded our expectations, as did the stops for snorkeling/swimming, hiking up to an ottoman castle, and getting ice cream in a small village. All for a great value, too - totally worth what we paid! Definitely book this trip!
Perfect experience, with small group and with the best guide and teacher

Barberos is the guide with a great experience, happy to share Turkish's culture and history. It was a great pleasure to discuss with him during th whole day.
Great teacher also, everybody feels comfortable with the kayak after 10 minutes.
Amazing kayak experience

Absolute amazing experience with Barbaros! From start to finish everything was smooth. He picked us up and dropped us off from our hotel in Kalkan and we had great discussions about Turkey and Turkish culture during the car rides. The kayak tour had just the right amount of time for paddling, swimming and free time exploring. He was patient with everyone during kayaking and encouraging
Perfect activity day

Highly recommend this experience!! Communication was excellent, and our group all appreciated the thoughtfulness and knowledge of the guides. Couldn’t have asked for a better day out on the water.

Barby is great guide. Gives perfect level of history and info- just enough to understand the history while enjoying the beautiful scenery. Highly recommended.
I would give 6 stars if I could

The kayaking itself was amazing, each stop along the journey has beautiful vistas and made for great swimming in the warm waters of the Mediterranean. Special thanks needs to be given to our guide Barbarossa who's insightful and encyclopedic knowledge of Turkey, along with his excellent sense of humour made the tour even more immersive and memorable. The meal along the way was above and beyond our expectations, and the tour itself was the highlight of our trip to Kas!

We absolutely loved our kayaking tour around Kekova! Barbaros is an excellent tour guide, knowledgeable and easy-going, telling us all about the history or the place and pointing out cool sights so we don’t miss anything. The lunch on the island was so tasty! Highly recommend this tour!! I would do it again in a heartbeat.
An excellent day out, would definitely recommend!

This was an excellent day out.
Barbie (the guide) was very knowledgeable, and had perfect English.
It was just the right mix between adventures on a kayak and messing about in the sea, with a bit of history.
He made sure everyone kept up at all times.
The only slight negative was the lunch - it was good for it to be thrown in, but it was very basic food and way too salty - plus all drinks had to be paid for.
100% would go again!

Do not hesitate to book this fantastic day out, such great value and lovely memories made.

Had such a fabulous day with Barbaros on the Kekova kayak trip. Barbie picked us up bang on time at our hotel at 8am and kindly bought us pastries as our hotel breakfast did st start till 830. He took the 4 of us to Kas, met up with 5 others and we went in a mini bus to the Kekova coast to pick up the kayaks. We had never done this but after a quick tutorial we were ready to go. What a fabulous guide B was telling us all about the history of the ancient area. He was a mine of information. We stopped for 3 swims, a lovely lunch and look round the tiny village. He was a great fun guy who was so patient and fluent in English. After we got back to our starting point he drove us back to our hotel about 5pm. We loved our day out.
10/10 highly recommended

Barberosa who was our guide and who owns the company is a mine of information. He knows so much about the economic and political history of the region, the ruins of Kekova and a lot more besides. We had the benefit of an hours transfer there and back from Kalkan and there was never a dull moment
There were 4 of us on the tour and we had all kayaked before so set off in good time. We kayaked out of the bay to our first stop, a little bay with Byzantine ruins. In summer the water would be warm enough to swim but not early May but we found a tortoise whilst exploring the area which are apparently indigenous.
Next we kayaked around Kekova and then across to Simine for lunch which can only be accessed by boat.
A walk around the village, delicious icecream before we set off around the headland and back to base.
All round a fantastic trip
Must do in kas

Barbaros! He was very patient with the first timers.he kept giving us historical trivia about the place and while ensuring safety of everybody he let everyone learn their own way.

Danke!
