After making your own way to the Nitmiluk Boat Jetty in the morning, board the open-air boat for your Katharine Gorge cruise. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure, and allow 30 minutes for the drive from Katherine.
On this cruise, explore the first three gorges in Katherine Gorge, which is made up of 13 separate gorges. Stop at an ancient Aboriginal rock art site and learn about its importance. Have a picnic breakfast, and take time for a refreshing swim. Your Nitmiluk guide shares informative commentary about the significance of this land to the Jawoyn People and the Katherine region.
Please note that between each gorge you must walk a quarter mile (500 meter) by disembarking from the boat then returning to the boat in the next gorge.
At the end of 4.5 hours, your tour ends with drop-off at your starting point.
