The rafting itself was really good, as were the guides. I enjoyed floating during monsoon season, and the rapids were most enjoyable but felt like a safe experience at all times. Will say that because of the rains that the river is muddy and one cannot enjoy water clarity. Imagine it's different in other times of the year. Additionally, the valley scenery, both getting to/from and on the float is something great to see. Plus, the lunch afterward is standard Nepali fare and good. The company had someone meet me at my hotel in the morning, and they arranged a ride back to Kathmandu after the float. But by ride, expect standard public bus.

Great trip, good rapids. What would have made this a 5 star is if they had also taken pictures during the rapids and made them available.

The 3hr white water rafting was enjoyable. The guide was professional, provided clear instructions, and we felt safe and well-taken care of during the rafting trip. The rapids are fairly okay, and were fair to moderate levels. The lunch break was also a simple and delicious Nepalese dhal bhat. However, we didn't enjoy the return bus transfers to the water rafting site, and you need to be prepared for a one-way transfer of 4.5hrs and a total travelling time of about 9-10hrs for a return journey. Also, the bus rides are in a local bus and might be uncomfortable for tourists. We also didn't that there were no changing/shower facilities at the end of the rafting trip, so it was straight from the raft an to the bus in your wet clothing.
