After morning pickup from your Kathmandu hotel, your private guide takes you on a scenic 90-minute drive to Nagarkot. Along the winding roads, pass by small villages, teahouses, forests, and mountain panoramas in the distance. Nagarkot sits about 19 miles (30 kilometers) from Kathmandu. See the the Everest Range, Annapurna Range, the Langtang Range, the Mansiri Range, Rolwaling Range, and other Himalayan mountains in the distance. Follow your guide down a walking trail to the village of Rohini Bhanjyang, which offers great mountain views. Continue through the hamlets of Kankre and Tanchok to Tusal, then ascend uphill through farmland to Opi.
