Captain Rob did a great job getting the boat in close to get good photos of bald eagles, the lighthouse, totems and other interesting features along the shores. Good commentary too.

Absolutely wonderful. We were greeted by Captain Jeff fairly near where our ship docked. We had good instructions on the confirmation. He had lots of experience of the area as he was born and has always lived in Ketchikan. His information was great and delivered really well. Making the trip to the boat fantastic. Capt. Joe took over and once again the boat trip could not have been better. We saw so much wildlife and Capt Joe stopped many times for us to get our photo. Thanks. We would highly recommend this company.

Knowlegable and friendly staff. We saw almost 20 Bald Eagles including 4 juvenile ones and 6 Eagle's nests- some of which were occupied. Also about 20 seals on rock island out by historic Lighthouse near Harbour entrance. Captain and crew very helpful. Binoculars provided for all. Hot chocolate, cheese and crackers, fruit salad complementary. Easy access even for my 94 y.o. Mother and the Captain let her sit in his chair and put on First mate's cap auto pilot was on for experience and photos Picked up and delivered to Cruise Ship pier. Covered and open areas on 2 level cruiser. Great view of Totem park and waterfront homes of Ketchikan. Highly recommend this as full value experience

Very friendly, enthusiastic staff and great view of eagles. Totems and lighthouses were just a minor part of the trip. The eagles were the highlight with the staff pointing out eagles in many locations.

This was the one and only tour we did where we felt actually part of alaska. the over hyped on board shore excursions were not as personal or non touristy as this trip. The gentleman who transported us to the small boat was very interesting and well versed in local history and colorful stories. The crewe on the boat were educated local, young people who took great pride int heir state and worked hard to please us from their diligent searching for eagles, we saw tons, including nests, to the careful spotting of bears and the deli8ghtful touring around Totem Bight where we saw toems and a clan house. They also served snacks and beverages including amazing hot chocolate! I highly recommend saving your money from any other shore trip and take this tour instead!

a very nice tour with a quite humorous guide. You definitely get tired of the amount of Eagles you're able to see and the various explanations given by the guide give you am superb perspective of Ketchikan's nature and wildlife

Excellent crew. Wanted to see bald eagles and the crew was great in spotting them and their nests. Also very informative narration as we motored around the island. Really appreciated being provided with binoculars for this excursion.
