The fact that I fell in and was rescued.
The whole thing was a little disappointing - we were sold this on the basis that we could see manatee and whilst I appreciate that they can be elusive I got the impression that we weren’t even looking for them. It was a gentle kayak up a river then into mangroves where I benefitted from one thing…a few bites

Sorry you weren’t able to see manatees. Our policy clearly states that we do our best to find manatees and often do but we cannot guarantee that we will see them as they are free roaming animals. Glad your rescue worked out. Good thing our guide was able to assist. Hopefully your next kayak trip lives up to your expectation.

Beautiful scenery. Swimming hole was fun. Tour guide, Brittany, was awesome, knowledgeable, and even took pictures of us as we went so we didn’t have to keep getting our phones out and could just take in the scenery. The gift shop had some nice stuff. Their selection of music while preparing for the trip was good too.

Keith was amazing and is knowledgeable about the ecology and animals. My husband and I happened to be the only ones in this tour so this was pretty special. We saw manatees mama and baby. They were curious and swam by us a couple of times. Our first time seeing them so close like this was such an amazing and humble experience. Thank you for a memorable day!

Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We liked how our large group was divided into two smaller groups to make the experience more enjoyable and less “congested.” We appreciated seeing some of the customer reviews on larger crowds being addressed. Water was smooth and clear. Going through mangroves was the highlight. We did see a nurse shark and a manatee.

It was a beautiful paddle into the mangroves. We learned a lot from our guide about the ecosystem of the Keys. You could tell that he loved his job. He pointed out unique details that we might have overlooked. It was a little windy the day we went so no manatee sightings, but he pointed out the nestlings that had recently hatched of the green heron. It was a fun afternoon.

It was a nice relaxing trip overall we enjoyed it, we didn’t see much wildlife but I know that’s not guaranteed. Our guide Mike was ok, not much of a personality, never checked to make sure everyone was caught up before explaining things, overall if you just wanna kayak I recommend if your looking to learn about the mangroves I wouldn’t recommend

Brittany worked hard to ensure we saw as much sealife and birds as possible on top of taking dozens of photos of us and admonishing boaters and jet skiers they were in a no wake zone. No manatee sightings but it wasn’t for lack of trying. Check in staff was friendly, helpful and rebooked us when we discovered I’d made res for the wrong day😎
