Overview

Take a half-day sailing adventure off the coast of Key West, Florida and observe wildlife. Sail away from the island city of Key West to the beautiful blue waters off the coast on a large catamaran. See dolphins swimming and jumping alongside the boat, then jump in for an easy shallow-water snorkel above a coral reef, shipwreck, or sponge garden, all supporting over 600 species of marine life. Relax, feel the warm sea breeze and enjoy light snacks and a variety of refreshing beverages on board the boat.
  • Snorkeling and dolphin-watching cruise in Key West
  • Spend the day sailing on a spacious catamaran
  • Snorkel above a shipwreck and a coral reef
  • Enjoy light snacks and drinks, including complimentary beer and wine
Make your own way to the marina and climb aboard the spacious catamaran Echo, a quick and comfortable sailing vessel, on the water at the historic seaport at Key West Bight. Then embark on a journey into the crystal blue waters off the coast for this exciting adventure.

The first stop is a wild dolphin playground. Watch wild dolphins swimming, feeding, jumping out of the water and following alongside the boat in their natural habitat. Next, try a snorkeling session above a coral reef, shipwreck, or sponge garden. See more than 600 species of colorful fish, coral, and other sea life in these shallow waters. All gear is included and is sanitized for your use.

Not interested in getting wet? Simply relax on the boat and enjoy the sun and scenery from a comfortable seat in the shade with a cool drink. On the journey back to Key West, enjoy a tropical fruit tray with light snacks and beverages, including beer and wine for those guests who are 21 and over.

My adult children went on this tour and loved it! Unfortunately we were there in December and the water was pretty cold. None the less they had a great time ! The 2 people running the boat were knowledgeable and friendly, they even had a little extra food as a Christmas treat. My kids felt safe and comfortable snorkeling and saw dolphins and many fish. Great outing! If you go in December bring a jacket onboard and dry clothes.

A relaxing adventure

I selected this particular snorkeling trip because other reviews stated the group was smaller whereas others were 40 or more people. Our group had roughly 15 people and offered a more relaxing experience. The trip had a little bit of everything, we snorkeled some and went dolphin viewing where we saw quite a few dolphins playing within easy viewing range. Plenty of photo ops, the snorkeling we only saw small fish but still pretty and good for those who have little to no experience snorkeling. Well worth every penny and the crew was a lot of fun too.

It's been a while since I last swum so when I was nearly drown in a 2-meter-steep area, the indifference the crew demonstrated and their sluggishness to throw me a life buoy made me wonder what the heck was in their mind then.

Viator sells this as a shipwreck...

Viator sells this as a shipwreck snorkel and dolphin encounter, but when we showed up it was not a shipwreck snorkel. Nothing against the actual excursion, which was great, but we felt misled
