Ideal for first-time visitors, this 9-hour tour of the spectacular Ring of Kerry allows you to travel between southern Ireland’s natural wonders with ease. Departing Killarney, you’ll visit coastal gems such as Dingle Bay, Inch Beach, and the quaint villages of Waterville and Sneem. Also on the itinerary is Killarney National Park, a wonderland of mountains, lakes, world-famous gardens, where you’ll stop at Molls Gap and Leprechaun Crossing. Your guide provides history- and geography-rich commentary throughout the tour.
Kick off your tour of the Dingle Peninsula at Kilarney Paddywagon office, located on 13 Main Street in the town center. From here, you’ll board a vehicle destined for some of Ireland’s most spectacular coastal sights.
As you pass through the traditional village of Killorglin, your guide explains local Celtic traditions, including a yearly festival where a goat is crowned king. Following a 1-hour drive, you’ll stop at Dingle Bat to admire the sandy stretch of Inch Beach, featured in hit films such as Far and Away and Ryan’s Daughter.
Stop next in Waterville, a quaint town adored by Charlie Chaplin, to admire Ballinskelligs Bay and the Skellig Rocks. See, too, the charming village of Sneem, replete with two squares and a bridge that straddles the currents of Kenmare Bay.
Your tour culminates with a visit to Killarney National Park, famed for its unspoiled landscapes of lakes, forests, and mountains. Absorb views of the Lakes of Killarney and Black Valley, and stop at Molls Gap and Ladies View to hear the legends that surround each enclave.
After a brief stop at the beautiful Torc Waterfall, you’ll return to your original departure point in Killarney.
The ride was great, with excellent views as the weather mostly cooperated. The driver was entertaining, enthusiastic, and informative. We were blessed to ride in a smaller tour bus that maneuvered the narrow roads well and made stop-offs easier.
The Paddywagon tour with Mike was great. We didn't have the best weather but he keep things entertaining and interesting as we circled the ring. I am glad that he was driving those narrow winding roads instead of me. It was a great day trip and covered a lot of territory!
This trip was made by the driver whose name escapes me but it was on the day Tipperary won the cup and he was a big fan. The scenery was stunning especially the last stop of The waterfalls in Killarney national park.Would highly recommend
Great tour with fantastic tour guide. Lots of stops and interesting things to see.
The scenery was amazing and the guide was knowledgeable. All in all, a lovely day.
Super tour. Michael was wonderful, very informative, funny. A very pleasant day!
Great trip and the only way to see the Ring of Kerry rather than drive yourself
Roads are narrow and traffic can be a problem
Happy to recommend this tour company and its skilful driver
Nice stops along the way but foggy day blocked most of our views. Charming little thatched cottage village well worth the 5 Euro charge. Lunch stop was very good and reasonably priced. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the experience more rewarding than just driving around on your own.

Jerry was an excellent tour guide, but our 10 hour tour lasted just under 6, and all the stops were too short.
Killarney Paddywagon Tours has big tour buses. We drove by a lot of view spots, because the driver couldn't find a parking spot. People who came from Cork got the scenic side of the bus and the driver did not want us to change seats.
