This was an excellent experience. Our guide met us at the city gates and we took a taxi to the top with him. He gave us time to grab a quick espresso before beginning our descent. He was very knowledgable and allowed us to take the time we needed. This hike down took about 3 1/2 hours on rocky but not too steep terrain. The views were unbelievable the entire hike. We loved it! Highly recommend this to anyone who likes to hike, even though it was a descent it was still a little challenging but a breathtaking experience as far as seeing Kotor and learning about this beautiful place from our guide. Definitely need good solid running shoes or hiking boots. Wear layers as it was cool at the top but got much warmer through the hike. Bring water and a snack.

Ivana was INCREDIBLE! We loved the hike and she was so fun to chat with! Her English was great and she was so friendly. I Highly recommend this tour, the views are AMAZING! Make sure to stop at the little house about halfway down to get fresh pomegranate juice! :

Very interesting tour and the guide was an entertaining sould. Our fellow hikers were fun too. If you are looking for something active to do rather than just look at old buildings, this is definately a good choice. Just was they would have given us a map of the city to find our way out instead of just leaving us at the back gate though.

This tour is not what I expected. The tour guide spoke very little English. It was MUCH MORE strenuous than described. Regular and #34;sporty and #34; clothes and shoes are not enough! You need hiking BOOTS. There were many parts of the trail that were dangerous and unsteady. Last half of hike was the nicest part!
