Good service, once in a lifetime kayaking experience to see rock cave
We loved this tour, primarily because we arrived earlier than the crowds, our boat driver was friendly and keen to make sure we were looked after and we enjoyed our day.
James Bond island was smaller than expected but views amazing. Lunch was good but please explore to the floating market. We didn't and wish we had.
Hong Island is beautiful and you get there just as crowds are departing which is great.
Our tour was from Krabi which was great as the big tours come in from Phuket.
All round a good day, but not great if the weather is wet. Wish we'd had more fun but the tour company can't control that.
The day started right on time, we were taken by a minibus to somewhere near Phang Nga Bay, it was a rainy day on 28th Nov 2017. The whole trip was on a speedboat, it was about 12-14 of us not crowded at all and enough room for everyone, there were 4-5 guys for 14 of us.. the main guide was moosa and he was so much fun, always eager to take our pictures telling us poses, always smiling and very cheerful, others were friendly and caring too. It was my first day trip in Thailand and omg it was so cool, everywhere I looked I felt like taking a picture. We first halted just for a picture at these beautiful looking rocks, then at james bond island, then a spectacular location where we kayaked, then had food and then snorkelled at hong island where we saw some really pretty fishes, we were the last ones there so we had the whole island to ourselves. A Must do activity when in Ao Nang.
This was a very fun tour! We were often the first to arrive at places so it was nice to be there before the huge crowd. I don't know if it's always like that or if we were lucky though. The crew was very sweet too! When we stopped in a bay, one of the guys took the time to take a photo of each and every person who wanted one at the front of the boat with the background, on your own cell! I ended up with 5-6 pictures, angled a little differently and it allowed me to choose the best! The food at lunch was good buffet style and so was the fruit given on board in the afternoon! For the cave part, we took the option with the kayak, which was more like an inflatable canoe. If you expect to paddle and explore, think again! Each boat has someone there paddling for you though my friend got to paddle on the way back so if you want to tip, don't forget to bring it with you before leaving the speed boat!
A fantastic tour from Krabi! We had a large group (11 people) and as a result we had our own private speed boat from Krabi Discovery Tours. Khun Sky was our Captain and gave us an amazing day. They allowed us to move from place to place on our own schedule and truly made the day special. Amazing!
We were just a group of 3 and it was amazing!!! The waters were warm and they got us to each island before the crowds came so it felt like we got to experience each island privately. This was our favorite tour by far and we did a lot of the excursions around thailand. The food was an actual thai buffet on a floating city! If you do shopping in the floating city haggle because they all want to over charge you. There will be a stand that will give it to you for a reasonable price.
We enjoyed this tour very much! It had everything we had expected, very nicely paced, covered very beautiful sights and was real fun! We went with the speed boat, it was quite good for the distances to be covered. The canoeing was actually done by the local guys there and we only had to sit, but that too was quite enjoyable through the cave with a reasonably high tide! The lunch at the island was very well organized and good. The guide and the crew were very helpful and nice. We also got ample time for snorkelling and swimming. Overall, a great experience and highly recommend.

Great tour! To see the amazing limestone cliff formations of Phang Nga Bay was one of our top priorities on a recent tour of Thailand, and this tour gave us exactly that. Floating around the lagoons of Hong Island a visit to James Bond Island a kayak tour lunch, then back to a beautiful sandy bay in Hong Island to swim in the sun for a couple of hours, and watch the patrolling komodo dragon.
It's a long day - c. 10 hours - but the guys were great fun, and whilst the approach to the bay takes a while 1 hour? the speed of the boat was exhilarating, and amply aided by the breathtaking scenery. Highly recommended!!!!
This was by far the best tour we did in Thailand. It was a small group of 13 people, the crew was extremely courteous. They served us water throughout the trip and great lunch. Hong ISland is gorgeous as is James Bond Island. This was a day well spent. Also, Phang Nga bay is out of this world. The crew members were very enthusiastic to help and would take pictures for everyone. Also, in order to access the islands, you will have to 600 Baht in total as National park entrance fee which is mandatory.
Look no further! I am so glad I booked this tour. This was the highlight of our trip. This tour operator (Krabi Discovery tour) is very well organized. The tour guides were professional, courteous, and has a great sense of humor. They took us too each scenic site at the best time. 5 stars!!
The experience was fantastic. I would recommend Viator for your future travel guide.
Amazing service and a relaxing tour of the Bay and the James Bond island..
Its a must do tour in Krabi.
The lunch at Muslim village is pathetic and also there are no alternatives available. Carry light munchies for hunger pangs.
Gave it a four stars, because it made me give a rating. We didn't get to do this tour because of the weather. Instead we did the four island tour and had a great time. Wear a sun shirt even if it is cloudy or torrential downpours like we had because if the sun comes out even for a minute, you will get burned. My advice is sign up for this one, but realize it may get cancelled because James Bond island is a long way from Krabi. They were really good about refunding our money and it was easy to book a shorter closer trip the night before.
This tour was great. I and #39;m glad I booked through Viator because I did not any extra fees. Some passengers in my tour group, were asked to pay entrance fees @ several locations and ruining their and #34;bargain basement and #34; tour.
This tour was a complete safety hazard. It started with the van driver being angry that he picked up the wrong passengers at a hotel and had to double back. The error was 100 the van drivers fault for not matching up tickets. To make up for lost time, he drove at breakneck speeds on winding roads all while yelling at the office on his cell phone. He nearly hit a little girl walking on the road and a bicyclist. That was only part of the adventure. We were then placed on a tiny, very old one engine speed boat, not the big nice ones I have experienced on prior trips to the region. Most frightening of all? No lifejackets at all. On prior trips they were provided and everyone had to wear them when the boat was moving. This one had none. I will never again risk myself and my family on something such as this. I am happy to pay more for safety. Unfortunately, it is a blind booking with Viator meaning you have no way to research operator. We will see if Viator actually posts this review and follows up appropriately with the tour provider.
