Learn about the city’s rich history and Gothic and Renaissance architecture as you go, with audio commentary on board. Hop off at any of the stops along the way to explore independently on foot.
On Day 2, choose from two half-day tours outside of the city. See the Wieliczka Salt Mine or take a trip to the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camps to witness a poignant piece of WWII history. Both tours are led by an expert guide and include round-trip transfers and entrance fees.
In the evenings, enjoy a comfortable stay in 3- or 4-star accommodations, located in the center of the city.
Day 1: KrakowStart your 2-night Krakow experience with a transfer from John Paul II International Krakow-Balice airport to your 3-star or 4-star hotel in the city center. Check in and spend the rest of the day as you please. Since your day depends on what time you arrive from the airport, no fully guided activities are offered on this day.
But that doesn't mean you can't kick off the sightseeing! One great way to explore is with your 24-hour ticket for Krakow’s hop-on, hop-off sightseeing bus. Get out at any of the 13 stops on the route to explore star attractions such as Wawel Castle, Main Market Square, the Jewish quarter and Schindler’s Factory for as long as you like.
As you travel, listen to the audio commentary charting the city's history and its landmarks. Learn about Krakow during World War II and discover its religious importance to Poles such as the late Pope John Paul II.
In the evening venture out to experience Krakow’s vibrant nightlife. Enjoy dinner at any of its welcoming restaurants and perhaps finish your night at one of the Old Town’s lively bars. All drinks, meals and activities are at your own expense.
