Great Driver and excellent guided tours

A great package. Picked up by a very friendly driver who looked after me from start to finish, making sure i was exactly where i needed to be at the correct times. I was dropped off at the two locations where i joined larger groups for the guided tours - which were great!! The driver was there to meet me at the end of the guided tours and picked me up and dropped me off at my door!

Average, fast walking, mildly informational

Would recommend studying information prior to tour, as tour was only mildly informational. Prepare to walk fast (guessing pace was 4 miles per hour, which made hearing the guide very difficult unless you were on her heels the entire time. Very little time to stop and read plaques and take pictures. Entire tour (including drive to/from Krakow) was only 8 hours.

Sad but worthwhile experience

There have been some bad reviews for this company but I couldn't fault it. Our transport went smoothly, our driver (michael I think his name) was really pleasant and professional. The tour itself at Auschwitz and Birkenau is a must do, and I think it is very important, out of respect, to visit. It is not easy to listen to and see the horrors of the camps but I am glad we have. The tour guide was good, and she spoke good English. There are headphones so you don't miss what she is saying if you are at the back of the group. I felt we had enough time to see what we wanted to. I really recommend going.

The guide was knowledgeable and passionate. I learned a lot I had not know before. Our driver was also very helpful with my mom who was having trouble getting around.

A breathtaking and eye-opening Guided Tour. I have read books and watched TV Documentaries about the atrocities that took place in Auschwitz-Birkenau, but this Tour brought it to real life. Ziggy the Tour Guide was very knowledgeable and he gave a thorough explanation of what atrocities took place here. I will never forget my visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau, which was an extremely moving experience.

Ok tour, but not what was expected

This tour involves basically a taxi service from Krakow to Auschwitz, not a guided tour from Krakow. Once at Auschwitz, you are put into a group of about 24 instead of what this advertises as a group of 6 small tour. The group of 6 is only for the taxi part of the tour and it is not a tour. There is no guidance or tourist information shared along the way like some other tours we took. Once at Auschwitz the tour was good. The guide was very well educated and communicated well. The sound sets are always a little hit and miss and as with most guided tours, there is not enough time spent at each place to fully appreciate what you are seeing and really experience it all. For the price, it wasn't a bad tour, I just don't think it was what was advertised.

Excellent tour

I did this tour with my 14 year old daughter. We both found it to be excellent. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, mindful and highly respectful of the most difficult context and history that he was explaining to us. He also answered all questions posed, often elaborating and citing examples to maximise clarity.

Uncomfortable journey

My husband and I had to sit at the back of the minibus where four people were squeezed into tiny seats, we couldn’t even sit back as not enough room so had to lean forward resulting in an extremely uncomfortable journey to and from Auschwitz (over 3 hours of leaning forward) and back pain for the rest of our time in Kraków.

Had a small problem in coordinating...

Had a small problem in coordinating the pick up but other than that it was a great experience. The guide was very knowledgable and story teller so that one could really understand the extent of the drama that took place in these camps. Something anybody should do once in life. Highly recommended.
