interesting trip very well organized. Tour guide informative and very good with her description of the tragedy that happened there. Very early start at before 7 am but we arrived before the crowds with virtually no lines. We also had a local Auschwitz guide that seemed to take control and make sure our group was moved along speedily and to the front of the exhibits. This also allowed us to have more free time and the day moved by quickly with virtually no waiting. Well worth the extra for the small group tour.
While depressing because of what happened there it is a must see. Tour guide was excellant and very informative.
Although enjoy is not the right word to use in these circumstances, this was a very worthwhile trip. It was sobering to see up close what I'd read about. The trip was well organised. I would like to single out our guide Justyna who was knowledgeable and passionate about the subject.
very solemn, that's why I booked on the last day so it wouldn't make the trip melancholy. It has to be seen however, especially Birkenau. So Sad.
Guides and driver attentive, prompt and very respectful. Having the van transport us to the memorial was convenient and being part of the tour enabled us to enter the memorial site without waiting. The tour through auschwitz was solemn yet thorough and handled with grace.
Transportation was very right on time and comfortable, there was a video to watch on the way there, and it was nice to have a utilitarian lunch provided 2 thin sandwiches, an apple, water, and some biscuits. Someone really tall might have felt squashed in the van, however. Claudia was an excellent guide- she kept us moving but not too fast, I had plenty of time for photos and the bookshop at Auschwitz, and she was very informative and easy to understand. I really liked the time of day and smaller size of our group. The size of Birkenau was very thought-provoking I never realized it's true scope before. I think that everyone should visit a concentration camp at some point it's too important to disappear from memory. Warning- lots of walking, especially at Birkenau which is entirely outdoors. Dropped off right in front of my hostel. Only suggestion- could have used maybe 10 more minutes at the end of the Birkenau portion due to one set of restrooms being closed.
Great tour, being a small group made the experience feel more personalised. Transport to the sites was very comfortable mini van and the guide was amazing, she gave us the history behind both sites as we walked around, she was both very knowledgeable but also very personable. Would highly recommend.
Fantastic tour of a very sad place. Our guide was excellent explaining every area and buiding we went into.
This is a place everyone should see.
The tour was excellent! Our guide in the cc camp was name Isabela. She was very clear, took her time for us to see what was important, she responded all our questions and more. She cared about us leaving the camp with facts, history and real impressions. Pick up and drop off at hotel was flawless.
We really appreciated this tour. It was interesting and respectful. I am recommending it to all friends and family who have an interest in visiting Poland.
Well organised, with timely pick-ups and the guide who walked us round the two camps was amazing. She was very detailed and answered any questions we had. The day was very interesting but at the same time incredibly emotional but we would have no hesitation in recommending this tour. Excellent both in terms of content and value for money.
A very moving tour.
Our guide was very professional, very knowledgable and very respectful. A place everyone should visit to see and hear how all of them under a terrible regime suffered and to make sure it never happens again.
A tour that everyone who is remotely interested in history, politics, culture must take. Our guide was great, explaining everything he could. It is a chilling atmposhere indeed, dress warmly but comfortably enough if winter time
Had a tour of the place with a very experienced guide,She knew exactly everything she was saying to be the truth of what had happened there during the war.
Everyone should do this tour as it brings into reality everything that you have read and worse. We were picked up at our hotel on time and we had a short film on the bus before arriving at Auschwitz. We were then introduced to our guide who was excellent. After the first tour we had our packed lunch and then taken on the bus to Birkenau where we met our guide again. Again a very poignant tour.
The small tour was very memorable although highly emotional too. We were picked up by 7.20 at our hotel which meant we arrived early at Auschwitz and avoided many queues.
The guide was amazing she was so knowable and also talked so sensitively about the topic.
Definitely a must see, if you come to Krakow. Very thought provoking and sad. Our guide was fantastic and she certainly knew her stuff.
A packed lunch was also included in the tour which was a nice touch.
Excellent and informative Tour Guide... A Very Moving and Thoight Provoking trip
This was a very moving and sometimes harrowing experience.
Karolina did a wonderful job - and I really recommend this trip to anyone.
Picked up from hotel and dropped off in chosen location. The driver and tour guide were both fantastic - we would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to see Auschwitz.
We were in a small group of seven and our young and highly experienced guide, Anna, made our visit one to remember. It was a very personal visit to a place all of us knew about but did not dare to imagine. Even having visited, it is still so very hard to understand how humans can act so horrifically against each other.
