The lady who was the driver for the day was extremely efficient and kind She looked after the visitors very well
Auschwitz-birkenau and salt mines
Shirley_K, Jul 2022
All of it!! Was very interesting and sad all at the same time was an emotional roller coaster. The tour guide was fantastic. Salt mines were unreal. Highly recommended.
Good tour
Katelyn_B, Jul 2022
Both of these sites were worth a visit, but if you can divide it between two days. At the end of the day we were beyond exhausted and achy from all the stairs and walking. The guides were very knowledgeable, especially at Auschwitz. It is a solemn place to visit and they have done a beautiful job putting together the tour and exhibits there. The salt mine was very beautiful and interesting. You take stairs down to 135m under the surface. Worth a visit, but maybe fun to add a spa day there.
An amazing day well spent

Amazing experience! Well worth the money! Our driver was amazing and made the trip very enjoyable! Our tour guide at the salt mine, Margret, was very knowledgeable and sweet. She took the time to answer any questions we had and was very entertaining. At Auschwitz our tour guide Kristopher was simply amazing. Even thou our tour was short he made sure we understood the impact and significance of where we were. It’s an experience I’ll never forget.
David_P, Jul 2022
Two important and historic sites to see in one day. The guides at both sites were fantastic. Worth every penny.
Response from Host, Jul 2022
I am glad to hear that you enjoyed our trip. Thank you!
A day we will never forget and always appreciate.
Yvonne_I, Jul 2022
Ausweitz was beyond words. Something everyone should see. Salt mines were so interesting and stunning. All the guides in the trip were so interesting. They were full of passion and enthusiasm. The head set worked brilliantly at Autweitz ensuring we didn’t miss a word. The same would have been useful at the mine but our guide there made everything such a pleasure. He was very funny. The organisation from pick up to drop off was superb.
Response from Host, Jul 2022
Thank you very much for your words. We appreciate that you like our service.
Chose the company carefully.
Kjeld_O, Jul 2022
The place and monuments speak for themselves. The guide in Auschwitz-Birkenau was difficult to understand in English. We were not guided to or shown the remains of the gas-chambers in Birkenau. The transport-company provided a bus with a very ineffective air-conditioning system resulting in a very hot passenger bus. 40 to 50 degrees. The ordered lunch was one dry ham-chese sandwich and an apple. No time to eat it. Lunch not worth the money.
Response from Host, Jul 2022
We're sorry that you haven't enjoyed the tour. Guides in Auschwitz are always official museum guides and nobody can choose their guide. The day you took the tour was the hottest day of the year, it was over 37°C (99°F). In that kind of weather the tour may be shortened, as in Birkenau, you stay in full sun for the whole time. The air-conditioner in the bus was fully operational but you have to regulate it to your preferences. About the lunchbox, there are always 2 sandwiches, an apple, banana, cookie and bottle of water. If you could contact +48 737 663 333 as we need to investigate it.
Highly Recommend

An amazing experience, I would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Krakow. Our driver and tour guides were exceptional and provided us with lots of information!
Response from Host, Jul 2022
Thank you for your good review.
Good visits poorly explained before hand.
Louise_C, Jun 2022
First part of trip to auschwitz was great but felt rushed. We then had to do a 2 hour transfer as we had to go to krakow to drop people off to then go on to the salt mines this wasn't explained too us. We would of definitely done on different days if we had of been made aware of the actually plan for the day. It's a must do if in krakow but I'd say separate days.
Excellent day out
Nicola_C, Jun 2022
We enjoyed both parts of this tour and would recommend to anyone. Our tour guides at both sites were very knowledgeable and helpful. Our Driver and Chaperone were very friendly.
Hate is never right
Rinisha_Y, Jun 2022
From the beginning of the journey till the very end, it was very impressive. The time allocation to the van rides to the places were well managed. The driver / tour guides were very knowledgeable and I think without them, I’d probably wouldn’t have been satisfied after visiting those places. It’s like each square feet of those places, each brick holds a story and they explained it beautifully. Even the driver did, when we were on the rides. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone that visits krakow. Thank you for the amazing experience, this is a memory that’ll last a lifetime. Thank you.
Response from Host, Jun 2022
It is very nice to hear that you liked our service. Thank you.
Great experience for limited time
jenna_v, Jun 2022
A must do experience when near by. Very thought provoking. Shame the guide at Auschwitz was so fast, she was rooms ahead of us so the information was rushed. I wonder if the guidebook and self visiting would be better? Salt mines were unusual and definitely worth a visit. Guide was very knowledgeable. Our driver was nice, we traveled in a group of 8 and met others on arrival. He was friendly and got us there safely.
Long day, but places absolutely worth seeing.
Erja_L, Apr 2022
Very long day. You really need to order lunchbox. Short breaks to buy some coffee. First we went to salt mine, interesting, nice place to see. Long walk there down under, had a good guide. Driving back to city, some people out of car and new ones in - took a long time, there it was good time to eat lunch while waiting. Also our host could had been more informative about driving distances and how long it takes to get to Auschwitz. He did not say a word. Was a long ride. But Auschwitz is something every adult should go see. Again a very good guide. So if you don't have a week in Krakow this tour is good, but otherwise do these places separately.
The driver that we had...
Conor_B, Mar 2022
The driver that we had was great, really knowledgeable and made the trip to each place part of the experience. The Auschwitz tour guide was incredible.

Good tours
Lois_G, Mar 2022
It’s a lot of travelling for one day, with very dodgy driving but enjoyed the two tours very much! Salt mines and auschwitz were both fab couple of shops and cafes so you won’t starve.
Moving experience with a brilliant tour guide
Polly_H, Feb 2022
The tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau was incredibly moving and powerful, our tour guide brought the stories of individuals to life and the whole experience was respectful, informative and thought provoking. Similarly, the tour of the salt mine was incredibly interesting and the guides are full of knowledge whilst still coming across as passionate and emotive. Cannot recommend this tour enough!
Great tour company
Richard_M, Feb 2022
Tour guides were fantastic, everything from pick up to drop off was well organised. The only annoying thing about this tour was the rude South American tourists who refused to wear face masks in the bus, despite coughing and sneezing. Their behaviour on the tour was no better with bag rattling and talking loudly during the concentration camp tour. If you are not interested in the Holocaust History then please be respectful and book a fiesta bus or something, rather then bring shame on your country.
Excellent Service
Zachary_L, Jan 2022
We had an Issue and couldn’t make the Auschwitz portion of the tour Viator immediately worked with us and went of their way to help us. We’re very thankful to them for that.

Wear walking shoes!
Caroline_L, Jan 2022
A very long day. Left our hotel at 7.50am arrived back 7pm. BE AWARE WHEN BOOKING THESE TRIPS THAT ALTHOUGH IT SAYS HOTEL PICK UP IT MIGHT NOT BE YOUR HOTEL!! We had a 15 min walk to and from the collection point. Our guide at Auschwitz was very informative, spoke good English. Very good at what she does. The guide at the salt mines was very friendly and enthusiastic however although he spoke good English, he had a very strong accent and spoke quickly therefore we struggled to understand him.
Response from Host, Jan 2022
Thank you for the review, In the offer, there is information: Total Duration: 10 - 12 hours. We apologise for the inconvenience with hotel pick up, but you did not send us your hotel address and we collect you at one of the meeting points nearest the city centre at 8:10 am. The guides in both places are licensed and staffed by museums.
A sad tour
Richard_E, Jan 2022
Driver on time and was there at every part off our trip. Auschwitz-Birkenau guide was informant (Edith I think) Didn't think salt mines as good as expected thought there would be more carvings. And had to go through 3 different souvenir shops throughout the tour. At the end our guide dorothy told us to wait in the building she would meet us there. Unfortunately she was no where to be seen presume her lift beat ours. Luckily another guide let us tag on to her group to get us safely to the start. Overall gd day worth the money
