Susannah was really engaging and did a great job introducing us to the old town area. Her tour of Krakow Castle and the Cathedral was a spot-on, hitting the highlights. Let's face it, even if you lived in Krakow, you probably wouldn't get to see everything there is to see. But Susannah gave us a nice understanding of Polish history, Krakow history, Polish religious life both Catholic and Jewish now and then, and explained some of why things are they way they are today. Disclaimer: I have a history/anthropology undergraduate degree and a graduate degree in anthropology. I am a history buff and love social, cultural, and historical stuff. We were also the only people on her tour that day so I think she may have tailored things according to our questions. But all in all, very pleased with our tour.
Guide very pleasant and informative. Lots to see and learn. Not too much walking so would recommend for all.
We were the only two tourists for that day but our lovely guide soldiered on in the cold wind and brought us on an enjoyable trip to see the Jewish Quarter and majestic Wawel Castle with it's royal treasures and rich legends. We even managed to see the painting of the Lady with the Ermine ! It was a Sunday, so the churches were not accessible in the morning. Our guide brought us to visit one of the oldest synagogues in the Jewish Quarter instead, which was an eye-opener for us as we have never been in one before. She was very helpful and pointed out other tourist attractions and restaurant recommendations for us.
Great informative tour. The guide was knowledgeable, really funny and great company. We would definitely recommend this tour!
Kraków is an amazing city, exceeded our expectations. The Viator guide, Conrad, was excellent.
Our guide was amazing and Her knowledge was fantastic. It is an absolutely ideal way to see the city and learn about the history. It is mainly a walking tour and it rained most of the time but that didn't dampen her enthusiasm. The city is quite compact so it easy to walk round even after the tour. We visited several places again later in our trip.
Great tour and very knowlegeable guide, although her English was a bit difficult to understand at times. A lot of walking, which your original description glosses over a bit. Great section of the tour dealing with the Wawel Castle, which was the main reason I booked it in the first place.
Great tour, hit many highlights of the city, very knowledgeable guide.
This is an absolute must as a first day tour. The tour guide was charming and provided a wealth of information. All three tours were always on time and very efficiently run without feeling you were being rushed. The tour guides were always asking for feedback as to what else each of the tour members needs were
Tour guide was excellent. Day was well organised and I would recommend.
This was an excellent tour led by our guide Kasha. We started off with a short ride over to the Jewish Quarter and then began a walking tour that took us to Wawel Castle, the churches and ended in the main square. This well paced and very comprehensive tour was enjoyed by all in our party. Kasha was so knowledgeable that we noticed a number of folks not on our tour start to follow along with her as we went through the state rooms at the castle.
Your tour guide was a superstar: knowledgeable, enthusiastic and very sensitive and reflective. A truly rare exquisite combination.
Only mess-up was tour was not planning on picking my wife and I up, from our hotel even though this was confirmed when the tour was booked by me for 4 people, 2 from my hotel and 2 from another hotel..

We were only 3 in the group that did this tour last Oct 23, 2013 but it was so well organized and comprehensive and our guide, although an elderly, was so knowledgeable and still energetic even with all the walking we did. Most of Krakow's highlights we were able to visit most specially the Wawel Castle and Cathedral, the Main Market Square, Jagellonian University, the Cloth Hall, The Jewish Quarter,Kaziemerz, etc.
This tour was great! As it was Winter season and I was travelling on my own, there were only three of us in the English speaking tour. This was absolutely perfect as we got to spend quite a lot of time in each place and we weren't rushed. Our tour guide was also able to answer any questions we had in relation to any of the sights we were at, at the time.
The tour started in the Old Jewish Town as we were told about the Synagogues. We then got picked up by the bus and taken to Krakow Castle where we ventured in by foot. We were able to look at many of the fine tappestries and art in the castle. After the castle we walked to Old Town Square and entered St.Mary's Cathederal. This is where our tour ended.
This tour is highly recommended, especially in the Historical events in Krakow's history!
Our tour guide was perfect. he knew more than enough information and was able to answer all the questions raised by my group. he kept us very entertained for more than 5 hours and i would be more than happy to go on this tour again. there are parts of Krakow that we would not have known ourselves and only found during the tour.

The walking tour was excellent, the tour guide was very informative and answered all questions. We were picked up on time and informed of the days events.
We really enjoyed the trip even though we could not enter Wawel Cathedral (it was a Sunday). Again, our guide Beata was excellent.
