Fascinating look underground in the vast Salt Mines. You need to be fit though!

Fascinating morning spent over 100 metres below ground exploring the captivating salt mines beneath Krakow. Really well organised, informative and historically interesting. Be warned though! Be prepared for over 3 km's of walking at a brisk pace! Not to be missed.

The Salt Mine was really interesting! Excellent English guide in the mine. The bus was a little late coming, but got us all there on time.. The driver and guide on the bus were very good.

I enjoyed the tour, and the salt mines were astounding. The only negative I had was that our tour was supposed to have an English speaking guide. When we got to the mines, there wasn't an English speaking guide available, and our tour wrangler had to step forward. I will say, having been put on the spot, she was very gracious and did a pretty good job of interpreting from the Polish guide we were assigned. I think she discovered she had a better grasp of English than she gave herself credit for! My issue is that we might not have been so lucky, and the point of booking a tour with an English speaking guide is so you can enjoy what you are there to see in the best possible way. I don't know where the mix up originated, to be fair.
