Why Our Insiders Chose This Tour

What You Can Expect

Your full-day tour will begin with pickup from your Krakow hotel. Led by a private guide, journey along the famous 102-mile (164-kilometer) path lined with Polish castles, known as the Trail of the Eagles’ Nest, nestled in the countryside of the Krakow-Czestochowa Upland.

Stop first in the 14th-century Bobolice Castle. Admire the structure's beautifully restored exterior and hear the legend of the two women who were imprisoned within its walls and now haunt the castle grounds.

Continue to Ogrodzieniec Castle, also said to be haunted. Learn the tales of the ghostly Black Dog of Ogrodzieniec that prowls the grounds at night as you walk among the ruins of the medieval fortress, strewn along the region's highest peak.

Pause to relax with your prepacked lunch before visiting Ocjow National Park to see the Gothic fortress of Ojcow Castle. Explore the ruins and wooden houses surrounding the castle, and hear the folklore surrounding the king's father, Ociec, the castle's namesake.

After a full day of exploration, you will be dropped off back at your Krakow hotel.
Due to walking on uneven surfaces the tour is not recommended for people with walking difficulties.
