Private Putrajaya Day Tour from Kuala Lumpur

Private Putrajaya Day Tour from Kuala Lumpur

Your professional, local guide will meet you at your Kuala Lumpur hotel and transport you in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to Putrajaya—the country’s administrative center, named after its first prime minister, Tunu Abdul Rahman Putra. Enjoy the scenic 45-minute drive from the capital and relax in your comfortable ride.

You’ll see where five confluences meet to form the main waterway, where tiny boats float past on Putrajaya Lake. Follow your guide to Taman Warisan Pertanian Agricultural Park, where you’ll wander the impressive arboretum where fruits, vegetables and other local items are grown. Your guide will point out those that are unique to the region, making for an informative visit!

Afterwards, head to some of Putrajaya’s most famous landmarks, including the pink-domed Putra Mosque. Fashiones from stunning rose granite, this destination stretches from 250 feet (76 meters) into the air and is one of the tallest in the region. Follow your guide through the impressive grounds and pay a visit to the quiet Sahn courtyard where lush landscapes and waterways await you.

Next, head to Perdana Putra, the Prime Minister’s office. Known as the White House of Malaysia, this imposing building is home to several key government agencies. Your guide will highlight its functions, as well as key architectural features as you tour the grounds.

Before making your way back to your Kuala Lumpur hotel or the international airport, pass by the Sepang Formula 1 Race Circuit—widely recognized as one of the top circuits on earth. This memorable tour showcases some of the best of Putrajaya and provides travelers with an insider’s look at the administrative capital of Malaysia.

This was a excellent tour! My guide sorry, but I cant remember his name! was incredibly knowledgeable about the region and different cultural and social issues surrounding this modern city. I really enjoyed the modern Islamic architecture of the buildings, and it is a nice break from the hustle and bustle of KL city. The PMs office and mosque are just gorgeous!

Pick up time was 10 minutes early. Our guide/driver Henry is a very solicitous person as well as knowledgeable of the history of Malaysia, the recent development of Putrajaya and all its government offices. He allowed us to take pictures in places where he knew it will interest us. He even went to the extent of asking the mosques caretakers and guards if we can take some pictures of the inner sanctum of the mosques before the prayer starts. Putrajaya is not yet a tourist spot but it became an enjoyable afternoon with Henry's guidance by showing us the best spots to see the places in a different level.

Due to the national holiday long weekend, we were unable to get in a number of places. This should be known beforehand and informed us earlier. Tour guide is helpful. The trip was good. The scenery is very nice.

Worth seeing. Driver was friendly and knew quite a lot about the new city. There were very few tourists which was surprising, so we got around quickly and managed to get photos without tons of people blocking the views.
