Wait for your ride in the lobby of your Kuala Lumpur accommodation at 9am. Once you're picked up in a private vehicle, head for the Batu Caves, a Hindu Temple located on the outskirts of the city. 

Explore the limestone caves, which are estimated to be more than 400 million years old. With your dedicated guide, trek the 272 steps up to the top of the main cave temple, which is made up of three large caves. Get a chance to snap photos of the world's tallest Lord Muruga Statue, which stands 130 feet (42.7 meters) tall. 

Depart for the town of Lanchang for a traditional Malaysian lunch, then make the drive through some surrounding palm oil and rubber plantations. You'll get views of an Aboriginal village and some traditional Malay houses. 

Following lunch, arrive at the Kuala Ganda Elephant Conservation Centre. Learn about the facility's efforts to protect and rehabilitate orphaned elephants. Help the staff feed the elephants and watch them bathe the adult elephants in the nearby river, you can even jump in to play along and bathe with them.

Wonderful day.... super fun and learned alot! The driver was super friendly, and the guide at the elephant sanctuary was awesome as well shoutout to Maya!. If you have 1 day in KL, make it this tour.
