This tour is well worth doing. It takes you our into the national park with an amazing guide with the sharpest eyes ever. you spot animals - frogs along the way to a pond and walk around a pond boardwalk. It is informative, fun, and beautiful.
An outstanding guide Pui made the difference here.
Prompt pickup and rich conversation as we drove to Kubah, then a fascinating walk up the path towards the frog pond. Pui is remarkably skilled at finding frogs and reptiles in what seem like mundane patches of leaves to the initiated. In a very short space of time we had met with torrent frogs, sticky frogs, narrow-mouthed frogs, geckos, arthropods, pitcher plants and many more. The frog pond is astonishing with a different set of species to be encountered. A cat snake with huge eyes was waiting for us on the path. A flying frog landed on my daughter then leaped onto my camera and climbed up to look at me. When I finally decided to move it along we were treated to a spectacular long glide out across the pond. We stopped to listen to the frog music after acquiring a large portfolio of photos. On the way back down the hill, Pui showed us a porcupine and a slow loris, detecting them from their eye shine.
Everyone in the family was delighted with the experience, fascinated with the quest for exotic frogs, reptiles, arthropods and plants, guided by a high professional expert.
