Very informative guide, we learned so much. Lunch was fantastic. Worth ever penny.
We had a great guide who knew a lot. Turkey is a beautiful country. Our guide took us to a leather warehouse where we got a private
runway show of models wearing the jackets. It was amazing. The lunch we had was so quaint, outside in a little courtyard and the food
was really good. We then stopped at a rug making factory to watch the women weave those rugs. Some were as high as 35,000. The owner showed us the difference in the threading to see how they get so expensive. All handmade. It was very interesting. Nobody seemed upset when we declined to buy anything.
Our tour guide Emri was awesome, he was very informative and knowledgeable. After the tour of Ephesus he took us for lunch to a place where they weave carpets, but the restaurant had a vineyard feel to it, and the food was fabulous, a variety of dishes keep coming. After lunch we had the tour of how they make their Turkish rugs, interesting enough, our friends purchased some rugs. All in all fantastic day.
Our guide, and #34;Neel and #34;, was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and let us set the pace of the tour. Lunch was authentic Greek cuisine at a small family restaurant. Highly recommend this tour.
This tour was absolutely amazing. Selda, our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and provided a fantastic experience. We would recommend anyone going to Ephesus to book her. She is an absolute gem!
Our guide was incredible and had so much knowledge. She never rushed us and made my wife and i very comfortable.
This tour should not be missed! Our guide Ozy with Curio Travel was the best! Ephesus has to be seen in person because words cannot do it justice. Ozy was informative, interesting, friendly and fun. He tailored his information to what we wanted to hear and was a wealth of information. We also enjoyed the side tours to a rug maker and leather shop. We saw the whole rug making process from silkworm to the finished work of art. When are you ever going to get the chance to walk barefoot on a Turkish rug and drink some raki? At the leather shop we got a private fashion show, and our teenagers even got to participate. Turkey is a beautiful country with friendly people, and thanks to Ozy we got the experience of a lifetime!
Ephesus was impressive, even for our kids 10yrs and 12yrs. Mary's house, ok, but get there early before crowds. Then, the marketing begins... stopped by a leather outlet. Expensive, but entertaining with models and a runway show. Likewise, the rug factory was for sales, but you also seem the manufacturing and craft, and makes it a worthwhile stop. The kids loved the rug factory, actually. Lunch was included and delicious with varied local cuisine.
Our tour guide, Ozzy, was awesome. He picked us up at the port on time, gave us a lot of insight regarding each place we visited and its history. He took not only took us to Virgin Mary's house, Ephesus and to where they make carpets here we had a delicious lunch by the way, but also to a leather store and a beautiful ceramics shop. I highly recommend this tour. We had a wonderful time and got to visit many places.
Selda our beautiful guide was, charming and informative. She was able to provide details of the sights in Ephesus and we also had some points on the tour where we had 20-30 minutes of our own time to check those things out, which we wanted to more closely. The lunch was a 3 course affair in a nicely appointed restaurant. The Rug tour was interesting, but did not care for the sales pitch which came with it. Recommend telling your guide to skip the rugs and go straight to the leather shops, if that is what you might be more interested in. We would have rather seen the leather and shop there vs. the rugs. If this is your preference make that clear at the beginning of the tour, as we ran out of time and did not see the leather shops.
