Great way to see Kyoto

We had 4 hours to see the most important sites in Kyoto and he made it happen! Super knowledgeable, great english, got us in and out and onto the next site. He also took us to a few other off the beaten path spots for locals only.

Beautiful Day in Kyoto

Our guide/driver, he did a wonderful job. He was knowledgeable, personable, attentive and an excellent driver. We enjoyed the itinerary and the ramen noodle restaurant that he took us to for lunch.

Wonderful way to see Kyoto if your time is limited

Nokia was a great tour guide. Good English, very knowledgeable about Kyoto history and culture. Our driver was great, and the van was very luxurious. It was a little tricky finding the meeting spot (it's actually across the street from the train station next to Ibis hotel).

This was a great way to see Kyoto. Our driver knew his way around town and was able to avoid waiting in traffic. Our guide accommodated our pace at the sites and took pictures of us. He hit the things we wanted to see, but also brought us to his favorite hidden gem. At the end, he had the driver drop us off in a part of town that had the kind of shopping and food we wanted to try. I was so glad we weren’t with a big bus tour! This felt very personal and comfortable.

Excellent KYOTO tour with Mr. Aoki ♥️

Our guide,Mr. NAOKI, was very knowledgeable, patient, funny and super nice! We learned a lot from him! Our friendly driver and Mr. Naomi took us to so many places that are really very interesting! Mr. Naoki even let us see the bamboo forest next to Fushima Inari, since I wanted to see the Arashiyama but is very far and super crowded. The delicious matcha ice cream and shopping for souvenir shirts were added bonus👍🤪 We were happy too that he took us to Sansusangen-do Temple, with 1000 Kannon statues although it wasn’t in my list of places to see, but my family found it very interesting and amazing ! Unfortunately, pictures aren’t allowed🙂‍↕️ We really felt so bad that we didn’t get to have lunch with him because we were already so tired and hungry from a long and hot walk to the restaurant that we totally forgot to invite him. Sorry sir, it slipped our minds😞 We could’ve extended our funny conversations with him.. sorry again Mr Naoki, it was unintentional😞 Thank you again for a great tour! We’re recommending you to some of our friends who are visiting Kyoto. 👍

Kyoto tour

We had a very relaxed afternoon tour with Naoki our guide and very pleasant driver. Well worth the money if on a restricted time scale. We even got to taste saki for the first time. Naoki was a charming man who looked after us in a friendly way. Great set up MK Taxis.

Kyoto done right

This was a great experience! Our guide, Naoki, was very knowledgeable and spoke fluent English and Japanese. He took us to hidden spots that were not very crowded but had beautiful cherry blossoms. This is the right way to experience Kyoto!

Amazing quick view of Kyoto history

We are a family of four from the US, with super limited time in Kyoto. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable, he patiently explained many interesting facts to us. He was patient with our boys who were not easy to keep entertained. We visited the 1000 Buddha, the 1000 Torii gates, and a couple other historically beautiful sites. We were so happy with the guide and driver, such incredible caring and service. Highly recommend this tour package!

A pleasure to have two professionals guide us around Kyoto!

My wife and I had only an afternoon to spend in Kyoto, not nearly enough time, but that was all we could squeeze in to our busy travel schedule. Having Naoki as our guide and Shinobu as our driver made it possible to visit several fantastic temples and shrines in a very time efficient manner. Naoki put the plan together with our input, and Shinobu got us to the sights quickly and smoothly. At each location, Naoki got us to the entrance, Shinobu got the entrance tickets, and Naoki showed us the important and interesting parts. Shinobu accompanied us when he could, acting as our assistant carrying our purchases. When Shinobu had to stay with the taxi, he brought it around to us when we were ready to move on to the next location. It was a beautiful operation, done with grace and style, and we enjoyed it all. At the end of the tour, Naoki and Shinobu worked together to find the townhouse we had rented for the evening. It was not easily found, hidden down a small alleyway, but Naoki and Shinobu working together were able to find it. Having the help of two professionals made a whirlwind visit to some of the sights in Kyoto possible. Obviously this is not the ideal way to see Kyoto, but we were able to maximize the time that we did have.
