Everything was breathtaking! We also had time to see everything, the guide made sure we tied everything perfectly. I will definitely book again! And I highly recommend Viator, you won't be disappointed!

Excellent tour for a visit to some of Kyoto's great sites. Two small notes I would add. One, I would note the famously photographed bamboo forest in the Arashiyama area is not part of the itinerary, as the tours are focused on the East part of Kyoto. Two, the lunch provided is okay, but not great.

Overall an excellent tour with very good tour guides. I would recommend this tour to my friends.

You cant ask for more! The Kyoto tour was very good! I am amazed at the effortless experience these tour operators provide us with meticulous planning!! The full day tour included the most important places out of the innumerable historical places in Kyoto. English speaking enthusiastic guide gave basic information of Japan and Kyoto in a lighter vein. We had 45 mins stop for most places that included Nijo Castle, Kinkaku-ji Temple, Buddhist temple of Sanju-Sangendo Hall and the Kiyomizu Temple that offered panoramic views of Kyoto. Kiyomizu being the last stop, we left the tour to soak in the environment. I would have liked more time in each place but that is the compromise you need to do.

All in all, a great way to see Kyoto if you only have a day. Our guide was great fun and very helpful. The most impressive place was by far the Kiyomizu-dera temple complex.

Excellent trip, would recommend sound equipment when really crowded as it was impossible to hear the guide.

Despite the rain, we were able to join many sights in Kyoto. I recommend it as a good overview of the city.

Outstanding tour of the iconic Kyoto sights. The highlights involved the Sanjusangen-do temple with its 1,000 Buddha statues and the Golden Pavilion.

Tour was great! Highlight was the Kinkaku-Ji temple. I felt like in a fairytale.

The guid was friendly and provided us with Basic informations. regarding the time this was fine for me.

The transition between the morning and afternoon tour was way too long.

Everything I wanted to see of Kyoto in one day. Other than Arashiyama. It would be nice if they could sneak that in somehow, but the tour is packed full already. We really liked our tour guide, KC. Knowledgable, very nice, polite. Would recommend.

Really informative guides with strong English skills. Both were charming and had a good sense of humor. Don't do full day tour lunch is terrible

The tour guide was both informative and humourous. I believe his name was Yasutoke sp?. Made the trip very enjoyable.

It was a great tour and it covered all of the places that I wanted to see in Kyoto in one day. Kyoto is not a place like Tokyo that one can just take the subway and get to places, so this tour really helped make visiting these famous places in Kyoto easy and comfortable. The tour guides were helpful and knowledgeable too! Highly recommend this tour!

Excellently planned tour. While the schedule seemed packed, there was enough time to do sightseeing at each of the attractions with some time to spare. Considering that public transportation in Kyoto is more bus-centric than train-centric, this is a better choice than self-guided tours during busier seasons.

Great tour, would not have been able to see this much in a day on our own. Tour guide was informative and helpful. Even got to see something we would not have had access to on our own. Great way to see a lot without trying to work it all out for yourself

Great way to see many of the sites in Kyoto in one day. I would have liked more time at the Golden Pavilion and Nijo Castle in the morning, but the time was sufficient to get great photos. More than enough time at lunch.
