Got to see everything I wanted to in a short space of time and I was well informed about each location by a very friendly tour guide. Would definitely recommend.
A wonderful tour. It was a fantastic peek into Japanese history, and Yuki our guide was very informative. There was a bit of walking but it is manageable for elderly people with creaky bones. The drop off at the end of the half day tour can be at the Handicraft Centre. Another couple of hours spent perusing the three floors of gifts to take home.
Our tour guide was great, gave lots of information, and took us to some amazing places, my favourite being the Golden Pavilion. Highly recommended, especially if only in Kyoto for a short amount of time, but still wanting to see some of the famous landmarks.
This tour was fantastic!!
Our tour guide was amazing, he was so knowledgeable and very funny. We would highly recommend it to anyone.
Amazing tour guide. Very informative and interesting. Even though it was raining, it was still very enojyable.
Excellent value for the money. We covered a lot of ground in one morning: the Golden Pavilion, Nijo Castle, and Imperial Palace. It was a bit hectic, but we were on a tight schedule and this was the only way to fit in so many sights. It would have been much more difficult and confusing to do this on our own, as we don't speak Japanese. However, the guide's English was very good and his explanations added a lot to the tour, as English signage was limited. Very worthwhile.
This was a wonderful choice for us and we enjoyed it so much we signed up to continue on the afternoon tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Even though this was my second time on this tour, this was again a really great second tour, lots of visits to historically significant sites such as the Kyoto Imperial Palace and other sites visited. Had great tour guides who were all very knowledgeable regarding past and current historical facts related to the beautiful Kyoto Imperial Palace, the Golden Pavilion, and Nijo Castle. I would recommend this tour to anyone having an interest in the rich history in the Kyoto area.
This tour was very interesting and our tour guide was very nice and funny. Can recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto.
Covered the major attractions and our guide was very informative
This was an excellent tour of these fabulous historical sites. Our tour guide Tammy was a delightful and entertaining lady, as well as being very informative and organised. We really enjoyed our tour. Thanks!
Well organised tour, great sights to see. If you've a short time frame do this tour, as the sights are a fair distance to each other. Good pick up time, and we finished around 1pm, it was good value for money - would definitely recommend.
This morning tour is very effective. The tour leader has a lot of knowledge , humor and proffessional.
For those has a short time in Kyoto I do recommend to joint this morning tour .
We enjoyed visiting the locations, and the tour guide was so much fun to be with.
The Imperial Palace was closed on weekend so it was replaced by a Temple visit instead. The Golden Pavilion is so magnificent, that i wished i could go back to photograph it during all four seasons. Nijo Castle was rich with the Samurai heritage, learned many historical facts about the castle and its Shogun.
Tour Guide and accommodations were outstanding. Very interesting and informative tour. Gide was very knowledgeable and had many interesting historical facts. Really appreciated her attention to detail. Even though we were a group tour, she attended to us as individuals as well. This was well worth the time and very small amount of money. Would highly recommend this tour to others.
3 great places to see for just half a day. The tour guide is excellent!
Loved the tour. . .first time for me in Kyoto and the highlights were very special. I have mental snaphots of the beautiful buildings that I will cherish forever as well as actual photographs.
The guide was very efficient and spoke excellent English. All of the places were very interesting.
In a very little time, we had the chance of visiting three sights of great interest in Kyoto, which would probably take us two or three days if we went on our own.
Incredibly knowledgeable and humorous guide who was highly proficient in English. We loved her enough to get pictures with her and our group. Kinkaku-ji is amazing, truly a wonder! We highly recommend this tour and the afternoon tour. Stress free pick up and drop off at the Shin Miyako hotel.
Excellent way to go see 3 of the main places in Kyoto. Informative guide. Got some free Japanese lessons too.
