We really enjoyed the cooking class. She had a lot of patience. She picked us up at the subway station and went to her house. She made us feel at home.
The food we cooked was very delicious.

Our host Keiko was a wonderful, entertaining woman who welcomed us into her home and cooked us a traditional Japanese meal. We helped by chopping some vegies and stirring a few things. The food was outstanding, delicious and varied. Being inside a local home was interesting and Keiko's house is gorgeous, clean, and compact. The meal was eaten on a short table sitting on mats. This is an excellent way to experience local living and food. Cannot recommend enough, do it.

Our guide was very nice and we liked seeing the area she lived in. The food was plentiful and delicious. She served many items we did not make. We did not think it was much of a cooking class and no recipes were provided. It was more of a cultural experience.
