5 star rating: Highly Recommended October 2015

The history and beauty of this island is spectacular. I wouldn't book my trip with anybody else. I can't wait to go back. Nacho and Nemo were great tour guides and you can tell they love what they do. The sea lions are playful and the water is crystal clear. I couldn't ask for a better experience.

The paper work downloaded from your site told us to be at the meeting point at 10:00am, but the excursion did not begin until noon AND we returned at 5:15. How is that a six hour tour? The tour guide was abysmal. He spent the time going out and returning talking first with a young guy and then later with the guy's sister. He never bothered to ask if anyone else had any questions. In a conversation he had with a young English-speaking couple after the snorkeling experience, he told them that sharks do not attack humans in the Sea of Cortez because they come to this spot to lay their eggs! After hearing that, he lost all creibility with me and my partner. Finally, to make the trip a real torture, he blasted music from the IPad of the girl with whom he spent all of his time chatting. In a group of 11 people, half of which were over 50 years old, it is unlikely anyone would enjoy the musical tastes of a teenage girl. My partner and I took this trip to experience nature. I doubt any wildlife would approach a boat blasting loud heavy metal ? noise. This tour guide was totally unconcerned for anyone else in the group beyond the two young people.
