The tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The wineries we visited were very much out of the way, and we would not have found them if not for this trip.
Great wine tasting tour. Guide was so friendly, knowledgeable and informative. Excellent value for the money!
We had a great time! Our driver, Snowshoe John, was very informative, giving us a lot of historical information about the area. He also provided us with a great picnic lunch. The wineries were lovely and the wines were wonderful. I would recommend this trip to anyone visiting the Tahoe area.
Fun. The guide/driver was very informative and the staff at the vineyards friendly and poured lots of wine. The picnic lunch was ok in a nice setting.
John our guide was excellent, as was the entire trip. It was an informative trip, plus the wine wasn't too shabby either... It was also nice to have someone else handle the driving!
Tout guide/driver made the trip very informative. He was a wealth of information.
What a wonderful tour,The scenery and hx on the ride out to wineries was great.the wineries were fabulous.Bus comfortable.tour guide awesome and lunch was scrumpous! An all around great day trip, highly recommend
It was great! The wine was very good and the tour was also very informative. Would go back again.
Had a great time, the weather was perfect. Enjoyed all the winery we went too. The guide was very informative on the ride to the wineries
We appreciated the tour guide's enthusiasm and stories to and from Eldorado Wine Country! The drive seemed faster this way. The stops to the 3 wineries and last stop to the microbrewery were perfect. The picnic lunch at one of the vineyards was peaceful, and we had a variety of foods to choose from. Thanks!
we had a great time and the tour was a great value for the price.
Great tour. Snowshoe John was excellent guide with great stories and knowledge of the area. Can't beat the value, with nice winery choice, picnic lunch, and efficient use of time. Highly recommend.
The bus ride to the wine country was beautiful and our guide Snow Shoe was very informative. The wineries were small, family owned businesses and everyone was extremely friendly and informative. Each vineyard's staff were eager to share their wines with us as well as the history of the vineyard. There were PLENTY of tastings. Great value for my money and I would take this tour again.
Beautiful day. tour guide so knowledgeable about the area wineries, history and conservation. Great little wineries. We were on the tour with people who have been taking it for years If I return to Tahoe I would take it again. Highly recomended
It was educational and enjoyable. But we about froze on the way home...the windows and roof vent open were too much with the cooling temps. But everything else was good and the area is definitely worth the trip.
the wine tour was great, John was an awsome guide, i would do this every year
We enjoyed this trip a great deal. We appreciate someone else - like Tour Guide Snowshoe John - driving the mountain roads and providing a commentary on the geographical and natlural history of the area. I had recently been to Napa, so I really enjoyed the small wineries and casual environment. Our Guide did a fine job with the luncheon selections. Wines were great!
Great trip! Second time we have taken this same tour. May be nice to look at mixing it up a bit as there are more wineries in that area or even extend it out longer during cooler months.
Driver was well versed in the local area wineries along with local animals and vegetation. First 3 wineries were awesome but the last area we could have skipped.
Loved it! Beautiful, relaxing, fun and informative. Tour guide Snowshoe was awesome.
I thought that Boeger and Chateu Duvell were excellent. The 2nd and 3rd wineries weren and #39;t nearly as good. Snowshoe John was an excellent guide. Great fun and the lunch was great too.
A full and enjoyable day. Only two issues - 5 local middle aged women were 1st on the bus - they were drunk, loud and obnoxious until John basically told them to let the others on the bus enjoy the day. Then, the last 3 wineries were all together. The first one we went too served six-tastes in like 2-minutes - way too fast to bad because these wines were paired with small pieces of cheese and chocolate and were really good. Kudos to John, our host for narrating all day, and for zipping us thru one of the small gold rush towns. He knew his stuff, and proved to be very resourceful in managing the group talked about above. First time to this area of California. Overall, pleased with the trip.
